That’s what I’m feeling because my dog friend Jill was adopted and I’m still looking for my new home. We were lost together. For one week we stayed in a neighborhood where a kind lady gave us food and water, and then she brought us here. Jill found her new people quickly—no surprise since we’re both adorable—and now I’m hoping it’s my turn! I’m just 2 years old and a little guy; at 8-1/2 pounds, I’m a great size for playing and cuddling, fun and quiet times. Won’t you please take me home today and introduce me to the good life—the happy life we can share for a long time to come!

I know what it is to be left behind, but that doesn’t have to be the worst thing that could happen. My person moved and couldn’t have his dogs at his new place, so now I’m here, well taken care of and watched over until my special someone finds me. My former person said I like children and I’m good with people, and at just 9 pounds, I’m easy to hold and cuddle. At my previous home, I was an outdoor dog, so you can imagine how much I’ll love the comforts of an indoor life! Add your love to that and I’ll be in little doggie heaven! Oh my, it’s happened again! Two years ago, my brother, Zero, and I could not move with our people because their new landlord did not allow dogs. Now, our person who adopted us back then is moving out of state and cannot take us with her. Zero and I just look at each other and say, “I’m so glad there’s you!” We’re Wirehaired Terrier/Chihuahua mixes, and we’re two little love bugs; we love each other and we also love our people. Cuddling on your lap is my favorite pastime. We’ve lived with a single person, and with a family with children, so we’ll fit in almost any home. A super nice dog. That’s how my foster family describes me and I think they’re super, too. Most mornings, foster dad lets me jog with him, and then in the evenings, foster mom takes me for a walk. Yes, I’m a very active guy for an 11-year-old; my cheerful attitude keeps me young. In between jogging, walking and playing, I like to curl up for a quick nap, especially if a person is nearby because I just love being around people. I know lots of people-pleasing things, like “sit,” “stay,” “come,” and “down;” I’m totally housebroken, and I come with Free Vet Care for Life! Honestly, I’m just a little guy wanting to be loved. When you’re a dog without a home, lots of places can be dangerous. My friend, Skippy, and I were found in a very dangerous place—the middle of a busy road. We’re sure grateful to the man who stopped to help us. And now that we’re safe, I’m focused on happy days ahead. I’m an 18-month-old Wirehaired Terrier female, and at just 16 pounds, I’m little in size but big in personality. I’m also super friendly and energetic. Fun things for me include playing in water—running through sprinklers is all kinds of fun– and if my playfulness keeps you entertained, all the better! I say life is to enjoy and best when shared.
