I may not be the size of the state I’m named after (other than my ears), but my heart and manners are pretty big. I was adopted as a puppy and returned because my owner moved out of state and couldn’t take me. What?! Is that a thing? I didn’t get the memo. I’m a calm, house-trained guy who walks great on leash and doesn’t react to other dogs — even when they’re loudly sharing their opinions. I can be a little shy and prefer not to be reached for, but offer me a snack, and I’ll gladly come sit right next to you. If you’re looking for a sweet, well-behaved gentleman who’s happy just being by your side, I’d love to meet you! (12-2025)
