It’s amazing what miracles a little love and patience can work! I had been “living rough” in Arivaca for several months, relying on the kindness of strangers for food. After the volunteers rounded me up and brought me here I was pretty frightened for a while, but as the days have gone by, I’m finding that life (and the humans who go along with it) really can be grand and am coming out of my shell more each day seeking attention. I’m a small shepherd mix girl (they think I might have some Kelpie in me, too), and if you spend a bit of time sitting with me you’ll see that all I really want is a safe home and a loving family that I can shower with loyalty and gratitude.
