When my family sold their home, they couldn’t find a rental that would take a multitude of cats (and birds, reptiles, and a dog!), so no surprise, here I am, checking things out and posting a “personal” ad for my next human or two or three (I get along great with everyone/thing!). My dad said, “Orange is very sporty, sweet, and loves people. He just wants pets.” Well, if you’ve ever been owned by a “ginger” cat, you’ll know that we pretty much have a “rep” for being outgoing and loving critters, and I’m no exception, so I’m betting your summer will be way over the top when you add me to the mix!

Hey, y’all. Watching my roommates go to loving homes and being left behind is getting really old really fast! I had a bout of ringworm and had to be isolated until it cleared up, so I didn’t get a lot of wonderful hands-on people time then. Now that I’m good as new, I’m still living in just one room ‘cause I’m at that “betwixt and between” age where I’m too big to mingle with the little guys and too young for the adult cats. But I love visitors, so I’m imploring some wonderful person to give me a home where I can have a WHOLE HOUSE to myself and be the loving companion I’ve always meant to be!

I’m so sad that I only got to spend a short time with my dad before he passed away, because we (and his dogs) got along beautifully and were one big happy family. They say I’m super friendly, love toys and playing fetch (no big surprise since I’m only about 18 months old), and would have been a loving companion to him for a long time. Well, as we all know, things don’t work out like we planned, so here I am, sitting in a cat tree, wondering who’ll be the next human I can charm. I’ll bet if you come visit it just might be you, so you’ll never know unless you meet me!

My mom adopted me from TALGV when I was eight weeks old, typically adventuresome and full of spunk. She already had two older cats, and although the male “tolerated” my hijinks, her female had different ideas about my kitten ways and maintained her own space. Well that was okay for a while, but as I’ve matured, I decided that I wanted to be top cat, so our relationship deteriorated even more. Being the new kid on the block, mom finally decided that I’d do best in a home where I was the only feline (I got along great with her neighbor’s Labrador though), so here I am again, looking for a human who is a torti lover (you know who you are — we’re BOTH special!). I respond to love and gentleness in my own way, so I’m hoping for a new life where it’s just you and me.

I have lots of sympathy for anyone recovering from an illness, ‘cause I’ve been on a “medical hold” since I arrived back in June. Okay, I wasn’t really sick, sick, but I had bad allergies, and it took some time to figure out the best treatment. Well, ta dah – they did! I’m on special food for the rest of my life (and at 4 years old, that’ll be a while!), but I like it, so no problem there. In my past life, I got along great with dogs, but cats were a no-no, so if you’ve got a spot in your heart for a lovely Siamese lady, I’ve got my sights set on you!

I am medium-size boxer girl and that’s a water bowl you see me playing with in those pictures! I got bored with the same old rubber balls and fake bones, so I tried the bowl. It makes way more noise! Well, that may have tipped you off to the fact that I’m kinda energetic. I especially like to play with people, but I play nice, even when I get excited. As a young’un, I still need to learn stuff—like what’s okay to play with and what’s not and how to tell you when I need to go potty—but I am eager and willing! Do you have some time to teach me how to be the greatest dog ever? ‘Cause I’m destined for that for sure! I just need a little help getting there!
