Hi… my name is Wilma,

Adopted 5-14-20

My son, Fred, and I were lost… hungry and thirsty and full of cactus thorns. Then we decided to check out the 18th hole at the Country Club of Green Valley where our adventure was cut short by two nice TALGV volunteers. After all the cactus stickers were removed, I received the royal treatment with a lovely room, soft bed, lots of toys, and friendly people. I’m quick to greet people coming in and then check them out. I’m happy to sit in your lap, follow you around, or go for a walk with you. I’m a pretty laid-back terrier mix with a glossy black and white coat. Life is Good! The only thing missing in my life now is a special place, possibly with you?

Hi… my name is Henry,

Adopted 5-7-20

Cute, I got it! With my upbeat attitude and high cute quotient, I know I’ll find just the right person for me. I get along with everyone, including dogs and cats. I’m house broken, crate trained, and love walking on a leash. Oh, and I’m not a big barker like some small dogs. I love playing with my toys and can entertain myself for hours. Kissing? Well, that’s my specialty; soft gentle kisses are right up there with being in your lap and cuddling up with you. With my great attitude I know there is a forever home out there for me. Would it be with you? Please come down so we can meet.

Hi… my name is Prince,

Adopted 5-25-20

I was found in the desert and had lots of cactus thorns to be pulled out when I arrived at TALGV. Once that was done, I went to live at a foster home. Foster mom wrote this story for me: ‘I’m house-trained and love to ride in the car. I prefer to be wherever you are but understand if sometimes I just have to wait patiently for you to come back to me. I’m a great walker! I like to rise early and if you won’t let me cuddle on your bed, I’ll nibble on your feet or hands until you get up and give me big hugs. (I must admit that I need to be an only dog, but my tough guy looks are deceiving.) Humans are my favorite!” Won’t you come sit next to me so I can snuggle up next to you and put my head in your lap?

Savannah is a 55-pound, 2 ½-year-old female terrier mix who needs a new home. Owner has 8 other dogs, and does not have the time required to devote to this special-needs dog. She is housebroken, asks to go out, and is crate trained. She has been spayed but needs her shots; medical records are available. Savannah has a condition called Mega esophagus so has to eat her meals sitting up. She has a special enclosure that she goes into at mealtime. Owner helps her eat at times, and she remains in chair for about 15 minutes after eating to be sure food has reached her stomach. Savannah often plays with another dog her size, but she does not like small dogs; cats and children are unknown. There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Savannah into a loving home as part of your family, please call Curtis any time at 520-869-4536.
