Hi… my name is Lacey (aka Tuesday),

Adopted 5-5-20

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

I hope you understand when I say these precious years are my sweetest. I’ve had friends, adventures, scary times (once lost in the desert), and good times, but now I’m content to lie in the sun, enjoy my meals, and stay close to my special person. I’m told I’m good company, too. I love to go for walks every day, enjoy a warm bath, and I’m a loving companion—described as “amazingly affectionate.” Fine in a crate at night, I ask to go outside, and for your comfort, I come with Vet Care Support for Life. Granted, my joints are sometimes stiff, and I can’t see anymore—unless you count how my heart sees the goodness of a loving companion. That’s what I’ll see in you and be for you if you take me home.

MILO is a mellow and playful 14-month-old, 40-pound, Staffie/Lab mix boy who needs a new home. He was rescued a short time ago but owner plans to move away and cannot take him. He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. He is house, leash, and crate trained. He is well behaved and obedience training; he will sit, go down, stay, shake, and come to his name. Milo is playful and energetic. He gets along well with children, but not with cats or other large dogs. Milo can be shy with new people, but he will be your loyal companion, especially if you give him lots of exercise. There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Milo into a loving home as part of your family, please call Corrine any time at 520-490-7587.

Hi… my name is Butterfly,

Adopted 4-23-20

Picture this: You’ve lived happily with your mom all of your life. One day something bad happens to her and she’s gone. Strange people come into the house; plunk you into a scary cat carrier, and you end up in a noisy place with a slew of other cats. Think you’d be discombobulated? Uh huh! Well, despite that upheaval, I’m adjusting and craving attention, so I’ll bet it won’t take long in a new home for me to put all that behind me. Life has a way of taking so many twists and turns, so I hope you’ll be there to help me straighten them out! (Oh, BTW, I have Vet Care Support for Life!)

Hi… my name is Bella,

Adopted 4-21-20

I was found with burned paws and cactus needles in my coat. My kind finders brought me to TALGV, and, boy, this is a great place for lots of attention and yummy food! Now I’m spending time with Foster Mom, who says I am wonderful, sweet, and obedient. I know my Staffie look might sometimes be scary, but I am so gentle, especially when taking treats from you. I’ll alert you when I need to go out, and I can be trusted when left alone inside. My favorite activities include watching TV on the couch with you, lying in the sun, and watching people and their dogs walk by (without barking). Wouldn’t you love to have a beautiful, mellow girl like me? Please come visit me and see how much love I have to give.

Hi… my name is Reddit,

Adopted 5-28-20

I was brought into TALGV looking a little rough, so don’t judge the book by its cover. The folks here have been oohing and aahing over me since I got here. I am very people motivated, friendly, and definitely affectionate. I greet everyone coming in with gentle enthusiasm so they can get used to me. I know having that Staffie look sometimes scares folks, but once you meet me, I will definitely change your mind. I have gorgeous golden eyes and a caramel-colored coat with white markings. I am one lucky dog. I got the looks, the manners (except I don’t like cats and small dogs), and all the love you can handle all in one fabulous package. Now I just need my someone special to share all that love. Would that be you?

Hi… my name is Flute,

Adopted with Banjo 4-26-20

There’s “getting along great” bonding and then there’s “practically joined at the hip” bonding, and my boyfriend and protector, Banjo, and I are definitely in the latter category! When our mom’s asthma turned into pneumonia, our people decided that cat hair wasn’t the best thing for her to be exposed to, so we’re back at our alma mater looking to shine our light on someone else’s life. Mom said that I was very affectionate with her, got along fine with the small dog we lived with, but was a bit shy around strangers. I can’t imagine life without my best friend, so hope that you’ll let the two of us steal your heart together!

Hi… my name is Banjo,

Adopted with Flute 4-26-20

There’s “getting along great” bonding and then there’s “practically joined at the hip” bonding, and my girlfriend, Flute, and I are definitely in the latter category! When our mom’s asthma turned into pneumonia, our people decided that cat hair wasn’t the best thing for her to be exposed to, so we’re back at our alma mater looking to shine our light on someone else’s life. Mom said that I’m affectionate, playful (“sometimes rowdy” apparently!), love to play with crumpled paper (cheap toys!), and got along fine with the small dog we lived with. In my humble opinion, I can’t imagine what more you’d want from companions, so why not come let us steal your heart?
