Hi… my name is Wilson,

Adopted 1-5-20

Have you ever known anyone who was hit by a car, then mustered all their strength and reclaimed their joy of life? Well, that’s me. After 3 surgeries to fix my jaw and lots of TLC from my TALGV foster mom, I’m a new man. I just need to avoid crunchy food. I’m a 7-month-old small terrier who loves to play! My foster Mom says I get along with all of her dogs and cats. I’d be happy with a playful doggy buddy. I have learned to eat and sleep in my kennel, use a doggy door, and am learning where to go potty. I’m an eager eater and I vacuum the floor after we all finish dining. Mom says I’m a spunky, funny puppy. I’m good at life, and I’ll be good for you!

Hi… my name is Kisser,

Adopted 1-1-20

I suppose the arrival of a child was a joyous occasion for my dad when his girlfriend and baby moved in, but it wasn’t a banner day in MY book! We’d been best friends all my life (he adopted me from here, where, I’m pleased to report, I was notorious for teaching all the other kittens how to open doors and roam the halls!), so I must admit I wasn’t happy about sharing his affections and gave him a couple ankle nips to remind him. Although I’m initially shy with “real” people, I promise to be a quiet, loving companion, spending my days keeping you company and trying to live up to my name.

Hi… my name is Sundae,

Adopted 1-1-20

“Walked out my front door and found him lying on my porch.” That’s it. Well, not exactly. Turns out I could hardly walk and was in obvious pain, and after I had x-rays taken, they discovered I had a broken pelvis! I’ve been cooling my heels in an enclosure since ‘cause I wasn’t allowed to walk or jump until it healed, and knowing how active most cats are (and given that I’m only 3) you can imagine that wasn’t MY idea of fun! But it worked, and I’m almost healed, so since I’ve gotten tons of hands-on attention to keep me from getting bored, I’d like you to be sure that continues when we’re together!

Hi… my name is Toby,

Adopted 12-18-19

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life.

To most folks, Friday the 13th is just another day, but for me, it lived up to its reputation ‘cause it’s the day I had to come here after my mom died. Not that it’s a bad place, but having lived with her most all of my 13+ years, it was a bit of a shock. But as with most Maine Coons, I’m a super outgoing guy who is over-the-top affectionate and loves to give kisses. If you know my breed, you know that we’re also pretty darned handsome too, so combine all that with vet care support for life, and what do you have? I’d say I’m nothing less than the complete package!

Hi… my name is Callie,

Adopted 7-13-20

When my mom became disabled, she and dad moved and, sadly, I couldn’t go along (that was really unfortunate, as I’m a great caregiver in my own way!). I’d lived with them most all my life, so adjusting to a new world may take a bit of time, but rest assured I’m a loving lady at heart and my purr starts up as soon as you start scratching my ears! I’m a smidge on the “plus size” at the moment, but with an increase in exercise (I like playing with fuzzy toys and in my cat tunnel), my beauty will come shining through, so why not give this sweet lady another chance at love?

Hi… my name is Ranger,

Adopted 1-16-20

Kids (5), cats (1), and dogs (a Rottweiler and Chihuahua) – I do them all! My family transferred to a government installation back east and was unable to take all of us with them. Dad said that although initially shy with strangers (hard to believe, huh?), I loved toys, balls, cuddling, sleeping under his bed, and “laying around.” I wish them well in their new adventure, but I have high hopes that I’ll find another home where I’ll fit in just like I did before. As an 18-month-old guy, that shouldn’t be hard, so if you’re looking for an extra-special, love-everyone kind of companion, then I’ve got all four paws up in the air!

Hi… my name is Thor,

Adopted 12-16-19

I’m 4 years old and 17 pounds of pure sweetness! I’m a male Terrier/Chihuahua whose family consisted of 5 children, a Rottweiler, a cat, and a Mom and Dad. They had to move out of state to a place that couldn’t accept pets. My Dad said I love playing fetch and cuddling. The volunteers say I bond very easily and make friends in a very short time. In just a few days, I’ve learned to walk on leash for the first time, and I’ve made a lot of new friends. In fact, I see everyone who walks through the door as a potential new friend or family member! Come see me and fall in love. I know I will.

Hi… my name is Missy,

Adopted 12-11-19

When I was about a year old, I was having quite an adventure roaming the streets. Then someone found me and brought me to TALGV. I barely had time to settle in when two lovely ladies took me home. It was there I met the two resident cats and we all became one happy family. I learned the basic commands and how to walk well on a leash. My people said I am very affectionate and I am good at letting them know when I have to go out. I really enjoy playing in the yard, chasing my toys and being brushed, but I’m not a fan of sunglasses. I am also crate trained. Unfortunately, my family had to relocate and dogs were not permitted in their new home. Do you have a dog-friendly home?
