Hi… my name is Itsy (aka Magenta),

Adopted 1-19-20

Losing your mom is no way to start a New Year, but I’m thankful that I had her as long as I did, ‘cause we lived a wonderful life for three years. She said I’m friendly with everyone, loved sleeping with and comforting her (and her caregivers, too, when they needed company!), and that I’m just generally a charming lady. I’m also a “classic” in the sense that I have beautiful ticked fur in the mackerel pattern, so if you’re a tabby fan (or just a fan of great cats – and who isn’t?), then I’ll be the absolute perfect fit for you! Why not make both our lives much happier by being together?

Hi… my name is Charcoal,

Adopted with Spike 1-25-20

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

“Found this cat at Dollar General at Wilmot and I-10 walking down the street meowing really loudly and no one was even giving him a second look. He is really sweet and was very good riding in my truck. He’s a very nice cat, seriously!” So that’s all we know. What you don’t know is how and when I ended up there, as I am also seriously skinny, so I’ve probably been fending for myself for a long time. But my ordeal hasn’t dimmed my enthusiasm for people and laps one bit, so how about giving this 10-year-old a new lease on life – I come with vet care support for life to help us both along!

Hi… my name is Kava,

Adopted 1-13-20

I didn’t mean to hitchhike. To be honest with you I was quite nervous. That probably explains why, when the car stopped and the door opened, I immediately jumped in. Then I was taken to the home of my rescuer where I felt safe and secure. After spending the night I came to TALGV where I was made to feel at home. They were informed that I am a calm, friendly girl that loves to cuddle and it seems I also like kids. My basic “commands” education is not known, but I walk well on a leash. Now I have my own room but I would prefer my own home and someone to love. If you are interested in an affectionate gal that enjoys a cuddle—-I’m yours.

Hi… my name is Noir,

Adopted 2-17-20

In the annals of cringeworthy stories, mine has to be right up there! When my rescuers found me hiding under their back porch steps, they discovered that I had cactus thorns in my eye – the thought of which I’m sure gives every human the shivers! Fortunately they brought me to TALGV, but even after lots of TLC, I had to have my eye removed because it was too damaged to save. I was one much relieved lady when that was done though, and now that I’m on the mend, I’m up and about and reveling in all the attention I’m getting, so I’d love to continue that in my very own new home with YOU!

Hi… my name is Alphonse,

Adopted 2-12-20

After my mom died, her friend tried integrating me into her menagerie, and it would have worked beautifully except that I just wasn’t into male cats AT ALL! I got along great with the females and the dogs though, so as long as I’m top guy, I think I’d do well in most any pet-active home (or one with just me – that would be great too!). It might take a while for me to warm up, but my people said that I’m very loving when I get to know you. I’m a handsome 18-month-old boy whose resolution for 2020 is to be your very best friend – won’t you help me keep that one forever?
