Here’s my story: “Murphy belonged to a friend in Phoenix who died and I drove up to rescue her. She’s very vocal and smart – she opens cabinets by herself even though she’s declawed. She has always been shy, but is a sweet girl and when she gets to know you, she’ll come out for petting. It breaks my heart to leave her, but I’m moving in with my daughter, and she has too many dogs and cats, and I don’t think she’d do well.” I can’t add much more than this: I’m 17 years young, I have vet care support for life, and I sure would like to share my life’s experiences with you!

Even though my family decided it was best to part ways, they reported that I am gentle with children from 3 to 14. They also said I got along with two other dogs in my former home. Although I can be slow to warm up to strangers, if given enough time and attention, I do start showing my loving side. You would probably guess that I do enjoy treats; they motivate me to quickly learn proper manners. Come by and visit so I can show you a “chispita” of puppy-style love.
