Hi… my name is Kidday,

Adopted 2-1-20

Here’s what my rescuer said of my previous life: “A neighbor locked him in his garage with only water because his diet was to consist solely of vermin. I rescued him and found he’s an incredibly loving and loyal boy who’d never known a warm house.”

After five months here, a volunteer adopted me and I was so in love with her that I wouldn’t let their resident cat near her, so sadly that didn’t work out. But here’s what SHE said: Everyone should know about his many wonderful qualities: unconditional love, a lap cat, wants to please, a good eater (maybe too good!), impeccable bathroom manners, keeps himself pristine clean, loves to play, and has a huge zest for life.

PLEASE don’t overlook this wonderful boy. He will act shy at first, but sit down and call him. There’s a pretty good chance he will sit in your lap, and melt right into your heart. He lives for love!

Ben

Hi… my name is Ben,

Adopted 12-21-19

I had a comfy home with a person who loved me. Every dog’s dream, right? Especially for me because I’m deaf, so I was lucky to be with a person who knows that deaf dogs can be fun, loving companions just like hearing dogs; we’re not harder, just different. But then my person moved to a ranch and she worried about me in those wide open spaces. So she brought me here, with many important messages. For instance, she said I was housetrained, liked to play with larger dogs, okay with cats, (not okay with chickens), and good with all the kids who visited our home. I’m a 6-year-old, 44-pound Red Heeler, leash-trained, happy, energetic and friendly. I understand hand commands, and if you say I can be yours, I’ll hear you with my heart.
