Hi… my name is Tonga,

Adopted with Samoa 4-12-19

What is it about fluffy baby kittens that sends otherwise perfectly rational humans into paroxysms of delight? Well, I guess there’s no denying that we ARE adorable at that stage, but slightly older kittens are pretty awesome too! My sister, Samoa, and I (we were part of the “Pacific Island” litter!) are just as playful, happy-go-lucky, and affectionate as we were during our baby stage, only a little more settled and mature – that should be a plus for those of you who’ve forgotten how much attention and time the wee ones need! So hey, why not spice up your life with a youngster (or two!) who’s ready to devote his whole attention and love to you!

Adopted 3-20-19

Blanco is a friendly and loving 7-month-old, 85-pound, purebred male Komondor that needs a new home because his rescuer suddenly needs to move and cannot take him. He is in good health, is neutered, shots are up to date, and medical records are available. Since he currently lives outside, he will need house training. He is a fast learner, is highly food and reward motivated… already knows sit, off, and come commands, and is working on leash training. He has good potential as livestock guard dog so his preferred home would be a ranch. Blanco is alert and eager to please. He gets along with other dogs and young children. There is no adoption fee.

If you will welcome Blanco into a loving home as part of your family, please email to hualaniho@gmail.com.

Heidi is a friendly 50-pound, 5-year-old female Old English Bulldog that needs a new loving home as her rescuer needs to leave the area soon. She is spayed, up to date on shots, and has medical records. When found, Heidi was suffering the results of being used for breeding, but after emergency surgery, she has returned to good health. She currently takes medicine to improve bladder control but does not have accidents if taken out every 4-5 hours or when she asks. She is leash trained and is good with older children. Cats are unknown, but she needs to be the only dog. There is no adoption fee.

If you will welcome this special dog, Heidi, into a loving home as part of your family, please call Corinne any time at 520-490-7587. If possible, text before calling.

Hi… my name is Missy,

Adopted 8-18-19

People rave about cars going from zero to sixty in a few seconds; well my life recently feels like I’ve gone from sixty to zero! After my senior mom died, I went to live with her granddaughter, but her son was allergic to cats (and HER mom lives in a no-pets-allowed apartment), so you can imagine I’m a bit discombobulated right now. In “the best of times” though, they say I’m mellow, gentle with kids, and like to play with balls and furry toys. I never scratch furniture (just scratching posts, thank you) and enjoy lounging (know any cats that don’t?). If patience and understanding are your virtues, your reward will be one loving companion.

Hi… my name is Seri,

Adopted with Cholla 4-7-19

Can a dog be both shy and brave? I guess the answer is yes because friends here say that’s what I am. I was a stray, being fed—along with another lost dog—by kind strangers. Although very grateful for the food, we were still very shy, even after being rescued and brought here. But after my fellow lost dog was adopted and I was left alone, something surprising happened: Instead of being more afraid, I’ve become friendlier with the volunteers—cautious, but with gentle coaxing, I’ve dared to approach new people. In my sweet, calm way, I’ll probably be brave enough to greet you, too. And if you’re patient and I’m very lucky, we could become such good friends that you’ll want to take me home. Will you give me that happy chance?
