I’m a stunning girl who arrived at TALGV after being found abandoned, alone and scared, in a nearby pecan field. I’ve since been fully vetted, spayed, and ready to start my quest to find a loving family. A few things about me: I like to take my time getting to know someone, so if you’re patient and respectful, I’ll show you the playful, fun side of me. I LOVE going for car rides and walks to explore all the sights, sounds, and scents. I also wait to ‘go’ until we are on a walk, so I’m likely housetrained. OK, I’m a work in progress! After mom developed allergies and dad went to a facility I was given the boot. Luckily I was brought to The Animal League where they know how to handle cats. I’m a bit challenging at the moment, what with my world having been turned upside down. I’ve always been shy, although I’m good with other cats. No dogs, though. I need some socializing to learn how to act around people. I have pretty grey stripes and a white kisser. If you have a place in your heart for a cat that needs to blossom, please consider giving me a chance!

After spending a few years out and about, a nice couple took me into their home and I was very happy there for about 6 years. Unfortunately dad’s health is causing them to move and I can’t go with. While I was outside I tolerated certain other cats, but I’ve never had to live with any of them. I liked sleeping with mom and dad and they say I’m a real sweetheart. If I wanted to be petted I would tap their arm, or raise up on my hind legs to reach their hands. I’ve never been around children and probably not dogs, either. P.S. BK stands for Black Kitty!
