Toys, catnip, playing, chasing bouncy balls, cuddling, and sleeping with you – as the song goes, “These are a Few of My Favorite Things”! When a relative with severe respiratory issues and allergies moved in with my family, I had a feeling that my days were numbered. I had hoped keeping a low profile and staying away from her would help, but I’m such an outgoing and loving guy that that didn’t work too well. So at only a year old, I’m positive that I’ll be able to fit right into a new home where I won’t have to hide my “be-with-you” side. Just think, today could be the first day of our new life together! (1-2021)

NOTES FROM FORMER OWNER: LUPITA is a calm and friendly 11-year-old, Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix female whose owner is no longer able to care for her. She is leash trained, house trained (asks to go out), snake avoidance trained, and obedience trained (knows sit, stay, and come). She is in good health, spayed, and medical records are available. Lupita is good with other friendly dogs and children over five years; cats are unknown. She likes hanging out with people, does not bark except when the gate is opened, does not jump on people or furniture.

FIV Positive – COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

I’ve had quite the journey over the last few months! I showed up hungry and pregnant in a backyard in Tubac, looking for food and TLC. The nice woman brought me to The Animal League and I was being pampered as a mama cat to-be should. Despite that care I lost my kittens. There won’t be more kittens for me so I was a little sad! However the volunteers all commented on how sweet I was. I purr when petted or brushed. My eyes are a beautiful aqua. One thing about me though, I need to be an only cat because I have Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. However, I do come with Vet Care Support for Life.

I survived some kind of accident outside that left me with a gimpy leg, but a kind family took me in and provided me care. I lived with kids and a large gentle dog, and all was well until someone developed allergies. Here I am, ready for a new home! I get around fine now, and can be found sleeping in the catio on a cat tree. I like being petted and brushed, and will roll over to show you—just don’t be fooled into thinking you can rub my belly. I don’t like that! I’m still young and playful. My coat is black and white. Are you ready for a new family member?

Here’s a little guy who needs a loving home! I’m timid and stay up high on my cat tower. I gaze at my world which includes several other shy cats keeping to themselves. Volunteers at The Animal League come in to coax us to play. Sometimes a feather wand toy attracts my attention. Other times I let a volunteer gently pet my head. I’m a handsome lad with striking markings. Are you willing to give me time to learn to be your pet? I’ve never had a home of my own, so it will take some time for me to adjust to your rescuer’s patient, caring heart. I’m waiting.

My rescuer found me after I was dropped off, defenseless. While in her home briefly, I got along with calm dogs. She said I was a sweet cuddler. True! I love to be petted and loved on. I’m thankful that I’m well-cared for at The Animal League. Since I tested probable for FELV+, I can only live with other cats who are FELV+ or better yet—I can be your only pet! That would please me. I think it would make you happy, too, because I’m a sweet girl with much love to give. Are you willing to give me your heart?
