“She loves my kids and is the sweetest thing.” That’s what the woman who found me told TALGV, and the volunteers agree wholeheartedly that I’m sweetness on four paws. I’d been lost when I wandered into that lady’s garage, so I was relieved to find a kind stranger. And now, after being a little shy at first, the real me is shining through—friendly, glad for company and to go on walks, and very tuned in to people who give me some attention, which means I’ll be eager to make you happy, too. I’m young, 18 months old, mainly chocolate brown with some white, and a nice medium-size Boxer mix female. I’d be a great addition to most households, so how about yours? Could be the best place for us is together!

Yeah, I’m pretty discombobulated at the moment, but I hope you’ll see that that’s not my normal demeanor. After my senior mom developed serious memory issues, she wasn’t able to care for me any longer and wanted to have me, as they so euphemistically say, “put to sleep.” Well, the vet knew that I was a perfectly healthy guy for being 14 years old (which, by the way, makes me old enough now to have Free Vet Care for Life!), so he prevailed on her to let TALGV find me a new home where I can share my life’s worth of experiences. I’ve always lived with just one person – no kids or other pets – so if you’ll let me continue that tradition, I’d like to share my second act with you!

My siblings and I were on the verge of homelessness when our mom moved to a “no pets” place, so we were exceedingly glad TALGV was where we landed and not the streets! Despite the upheaval in my life, I’m a sweet, gentle girl who loves to play with catnip mice and other cats. I recently tested positive for FIV, but please don’t let that scare you away because I may never have any symptoms at all (plus I come with Free Vet Care for Life!). I’m a gorgeous Torbie girl and want more than anything to be able to show you how appreciative I’ll be for a lap, a cat tree, two squares, and a treat or two when I’m good (and that’s always)!
