Hi… my name is Pewter,

Adopted December 2, 2015

For two waifs who were abandoned by their people, my friend (and maybe sister), Harlequin, and I are downright relaxed felines! Our family left us in the yard when they moved away in mid-October, so the neighbors cared for us for a while, but when it became obvious no one was coming back for us, they brought us here to be sure we’d stay safe. I’m a charming and handsome 2-year-old Russian Blue boy, in excellent health and am just as easygoing and affectionate as can be. Given our delightful personalities, it’s hard to see how anyone could have foregone our company, but that opens up a whole new world of possibilities for us and for you. The holidays are right around the corner, so let’s spend them together!

For two waifs who were abandoned by their people, my friend (and maybe brother), Pewter, and I are downright relaxed felines! Our family left us in the yard when they moved away in mid-October, so the neighbors cared for us for a while, but when it became obvious no one was coming back for us, they brought us here to be sure we’d stay safe. I’m a charming 2-year-old black and white lady, in excellent health and am just as easygoing and affectionate as can be. Given our delightful personalities, it’s hard to see how anyone could have foregone our company, but that opens up a whole new world of possibilities for us and for you. Hi… my name is Bonnie,

Adopted December 21, 2015

Even lost and injured, I was my own sweet self. That’s what the man said who rescued me from Circle K. They said I stayed close for a few days and would just curl up by the door and wait. Maybe it was because of the wound on my leg that needed stitches. Anyway—and thank goodness!—he brought me to TALGV. Here, my wound was tended and has healed, and I’ve made friends with some great dogs and people. I have those Heeler qualities of being smart, loyal and energetic, and the volunteers say sweetness is my strong suit. I sure hope that helps me find someone to love. I’m a 1-year-old female, 39 pounds, with a gorgeous brindle and white coat. Could you take me home and change my life forever?

Adopted November 24, 2015

ROSCOE is cute and sweet 7-pound, 7-year-old Yorkie/Peke mix boy who needs a new home for economic reasons. He loves to walk, run, and play with his two tennis balls. Although he has lots of energy, Roscoe is crate trained and is very calm in the house. He has been neutered shots are up to date. Roscoe would be a great companion dog for someone who likes to have fun. He gets along with other dogs, but needs to be an only dog since he demands a lot of attention; older children would be okay. There is no adoption fee. If you would welcome Roscoe into a loving home as part of your family, please call Mary Ellen between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-603-4441.

Hi… my name is Pita,

Adopted 1-2-17

I’ve been around the block a few times in my five years, but no one is really sure why. Apparently “way back when,” I didn’t do too well with the other pets and kids in the home, so I’ve been living with an “adults only” family for two years and am just fine with them. My mom had allergies, though, so those pesky things have precipitated yet another move for me. I simply adored my dad and loved playing with a laser toy, small balls, and cat toys. I’m not enamored of being “handled” but do enjoy “hanging” with you. I also like to drink water with my paw and am fascinated by speakerphone conversations, so I do have some singular charms! I’m a lustrous declawed lady just “looking for love”!

Hi… my name is Tally,

Adopted December 22, 2015

They’re calling me “Tally” because I was found under a volunteer’s car here at TALGV and that was a lot easier to pronounce than “talgvee”! Being a foundling, my past is an enigma, but the first thing everyone said when they did my intake “stuff” (that means shots and checking me over everywhere!) was OMG this little girl is sooo sweet, so I guess being abandoned didn’t do any damage to my personality! I’m a petite little girl at just under seven pounds, and at only 12 months of age, I have all the spunk you’d expect of a teenager. I would so like to let that happy spirit enchant your life, so please take a look at me when you visit — love may be just around the corner for us both!
