Hi… my name is Butterfinger,

Adopted 2-20-26

My luck hasn’t been too good. My last two owners developed health issues and had to bring me to The Animal League. I’m hoping the third time is the charm! I’m a little shy and I like to sleep in a dark closet. When I know you I will jump in your lap. In the past I lived with another cat, a dog and children, but more recently my home has been quiet. Here I’ve been hanging out in a wall cubby, enjoying the attention of the volunteers who come to see me. I’m a solid orange tabby boy with lots ahead of me. Can we go through that together?

Hi… my name is Stripy Girl,

Adopted 2-4-26

When my human changed jobs and started traveling more, that wasn’t going to be good for me—so here I am. I’m a plus-sized girl with grey tabby markings, white feet and chest, and a distinctive orange right cheek. How’s that for flair?  I’m very friendly and enjoy all the attention you can give me—petting, brushing and scratching. You can pick me up (if you can lift me), and I’ll stay in your lap. I’ve been hanging out on a perch near the window sill where I can see everything.  Why not come check me out and see if we are meant to be? (8-2025)

Hi… my name is Charlie,

Adopted 2-7-26

If I look like I’m smiling, it’s because I am. I’ve had a taste of the good life and know just how great a real home can be. I was recently in a home and thrived as an active companion—running alongside my person on bike rides (while leashed), enjoying structure, and showing off my excellent manners. I’m housetrained, incredibly smart, loyal to my people, and polite with dogs of all sizes. I rarely bark, pick things up quickly, and love having a job or routine to keep my brain busy. One thing to know about me: I’m an adventurous thinker and can jump walls, so I need a very secure yard and a family that gives me plenty of reasons to stay close. With the right setup, I’m an amazing partner ready to commit for life.

Hi… my name is Auto,

Adopted 3-8-26

After mom passed away we four cats were too much for dad to care for. Almost a year ago we all came to The Animal League hoping for a new beginning. I quickly found the top perch on a cat tree and in no time I also found a new home. That didn’t work out, so now I’m back! The volunteers come around to pet me and I crave their attention, rolling over and purring to show my appreciation. I’m a big boy with a handsome tabby and white coat. My eyes have a mysterious green tint. I’m looking to start the next chapter in my life with someone who can shower me with love.  (2-26)

Hi… my name is Oscar,

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

“Handsome and sweet” so said one of the volunteers at The Animal League. I try to be. I’m shy and tend to hide for security. It’s upsetting to lose my home where I lived with my human until she became ill. Living with her family didn’t work out because the children were allergic; however, I got along with them, the other resident cat, and the dog. I need time to adjust to my surroundings while I wait for my next human to love me. I’m front declawed and come  with Vet Care Support for Life. I’m a senior cat with lots of love to share!

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Abby,

Adopted 3-1-26

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

In my last home I was a love with kids and everyone—except for the resident dog, who terrorized me. So here I am! I’m usually friendly and playful, and I’m getting used to my new digs.  I’m very good at using a scratching post and the litter box. Lately I’ve been sitting on a perch on a cat tree where I can observe everything. When someone approaches me, I will cautiously allow some petting before I decide I like you—then look out! I purr, rub your face and touch you with my paw if you stop petting me. Due to my age, I come with Vet Care Support for Life.
