True to my breed, I’m friendly and affectionate but not overly demonstrative. I welcome the company of humans, other cats and dogs. I lived with a senior lady and her Standard Poodle. I liked to be petted but not held. I’m not necessarily a lap cat. I enjoyed lying around in chairs but also became overly energetic at times. That proved unsafe for my human who used a walker and could no longer care for me. I speak up when it’s mealtime. My breed is very adaptable to family life, being loyal and loving when it’s our decision. Are you willing to meet me? We just might become best friends, and I could go home with you!

Found wandering the streets in Tucson, my rescuer thankfully brought me to The Animal League. Upon arrival, I was beside myself! However, the volunteers let me settle down, so I now realize I’m being well cared for. I like to jump up on a volunteer’s lap (with no other cats nearby.) Although I get along with other cats, I might prefer to be your “one and only.” I enjoy being petted on my head but not down my spine! My luxurious grey fur coat needs brushing and petting. How about it? Although you can’t buy love, you CAN rescue it. I’m betting you’ll do that for me. Please come and meet me!

Originally, I was adopted from another shelter by a man who was drawn to my description that I liked food and most people, but I disliked the warlock who turned me into a cat! I love to be around people and miss deep conversations. I crave the human touch, but I quickly become frustrated in my new body and become overstimulated, so I nip and swat. Tread lightly and give me my own space. I need food, shelter, and calm love. I had that until my human’s living situation changed and he didn’t have time for my companionship.
