I’m placing an order for a new home. When can we snag the deal? I’m a handsome sturdy guy with a silky black fur coat who originally was adopted from another shelter. So why was I found wandering in a neighborhood? I must have escaped from my home, and no one came looking for me. For several months I was fed and watered by my rescuer, but her dogs broke through the screen several times to get me! Yikes! No more dogs for me. My perfect home includes comforts indoors: food, water, a comfy bed (perhaps yours?) and lots of loving attention. So, what do you say? Are you my new human to love? I hope so.

I lost the only home I knew when mom died suddenly—my world has been turned upside-down. I’m adjusting to being here, mostly sleeping on a high perch on a cat tree. I’m enjoying the attention from the volunteers, especially the petting and scratching. I lived with another cat and seem to get along with the cats here too. I have a mostly grey tabby coat with white on my head, neck and paws. I’m hoping to start a new chapter in my life and be a companion to a new human. Catch me if you can! Someone did to bring me into The Animal League. Actually, it was my human who had too many kittens that he couldn’t keep. His landlord said, “enough is enough.” He thought I would be adopted right away due to my friendly nature. I got along with other cats in that home, and I’m accepting of other cats in my current room. It’s unknown how I’d do with dogs or children, never having been around them. Quick movements startle me, and I dart for my safe place in a corner or cubby. Will you take the chance on a cute little girl who needs a loving home? I hope so!
