Animal League News

Hi… my name is Cooper.

When I arrived at TALGV, I was one sick puppy because I’d been living outside with lots of other animals and hadn’t gotten the nourishment or care I needed. After I got here, I received lots of attention and treatment to make up for it and soon turned into a bouncing baby boy. It didn’t take long for me to find a home, but the single woman who adopted me discovered that “puppy” was more than she had time for, so she felt I needed a place where there was LOTS more activity (and maybe another dog to play with). I’m a delightful young, light-colored brindle terrier/shepherd mix (with the most distinctive and soft coat!), and I’m full of all the pep, curiosity, and joy that teenagers are known for. My mom said that I’m playful, great with other dogs and kids, don’t shed or bark, so you could say I’m the “total package”!

Eli

Hi… my name is Eli.

Adopted January 4, 2015.

One look in my sky blue eyes and you’ll see my Siamese origins, but they think that’s been “diluted” a bit with some beige tabby genes too — the result of which is one knock-your-socks-off gentleman (well, probably not a “gentleman” yet, at my young age I’ve got a way to grow into that “title”!). I was adopted right after I first arrived by a lovely couple, but after a while I didn’t get along with their small female cat, so they’re guessing that I’d do best in a one-cat home. I love people though, and playing with toys, so I’ll bet that if you have a hankering to add a quiet and laid-back “looker” to your life, I could fit that bill in one heartbeat of a hummingbird!

Arrived October 16, 2013.
