Hi… my name is Viper,

Life upheaval: new baby in the house. Our humans weren’t sure how my best feline friend, Baxter, and I would interact with the little one, so they brought us to The Animal League where we await our new home. I’m not sure why I have my name because I’m certainly not venomous! I’m a healthy, young girl with lovely black and white tabby markings. I’m shy. Currently my coping strategy is to nestle in a cat tree cubby observing my new surroundings. I’m waiting to venture forth to play with toys and receive petting from the volunteers. Until then, they are gently talking to me, assuring me that I will find my new home. Perhaps with you?

Our humans weren’t sure how my best feline friend, Viper, and I would interact with the little one, so they brought us to The Animal League where we await our new home. I sport a handsome black tabby fur coat complete with white paws and chest. I’m cautious yet curious about my new surroundings. My safe place is in a cat tree cubby. Volunteers can coax me out of it so they can brush me routinely. I like to be brushed! I’m a sturdy guy that will give you my heart if you give me yours. What do you say? “Shy, but sweet” is the way one volunteer described me. I’m at The Animal League because I was left outside by my previous owners when they moved. I was terrified of the big dogs in the neighborhood so I hid as best I could. My rescuer took me into her home where I lived with a teenager and a young child, as well as small dogs and another cat. I got along with all of them. She said I loved to cuddle and would ask for petting. I loved to sleep with my humans or on my cat tree. I’m easy-going, easy to please. All I need is my new human(s) to love! Is that you?
