Hi… my name is PJ (aka Triumph),

I was adopted as a puppy, then later returned for being “too much puppy.” Could I be anything else BUT a puppy? I think not! Since coming back, I’ve aced my basic manners and leash training from my two- and four-legged friends. I was lucky enough to be in a foster home where I proudly demonstrated I’m house trained, crate trained, and even learning to ring a bell when I need to go out. I know all the commands, take treats gently, and walk like a pro — though I might occasionally zig-zag like a bird dog on patrol. I’m affectionate, calm, playful in bursts, and always keep an eye on my people. Basically, I’m a 5-Star Dog. Want proof? Check out my foster “Report Card” below. I’ve mastered “How to be the Best Dog Ever 101.”

A nice person brought me and my kittens to The Animal League, and now my babies are on their own. It’s my turn to find a nice home. I’m young and active, and after my initial fright at being brought here I’ve come around a bit. I sleep in a wall cubby and will flash my golden eyes at visitors. The volunteers pet me and give me attention and I see that I’m safe. I have a pretty black coat to set off my eyes and I’m petite. Do you have room in your heart and home for me? “Smooth as silk” am I, the mama of the Fabric Litter. My very soft, fine black fur is luxurious! I love ear scratches and petting. My golden eyes will look straight into yours saying, “take me home with you!” I was a stray that was found in Tucson by a kind woman who kept me and my kittens for a few weeks before she brought us to The Animal League. Here we are all thriving and waiting to be adopted into loving homes. I’m on my own now. No more babies for me. I’m ready for my own home to be center of attention. Please, will you be my person(s)?
