Hi… my name is Andes,

Adopted 6-4-25

I was named after one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world because we share a lot of the same characteristics: I will also be big, and I’m already regal, majestic, and totally awesome. My sisters and I were abandoned when we were small, so we’re still learning what it means to be dogs in the human world. I would love to find a home with another dog or a patient person who could show me all the perks of living with people. They say I am a smart girl, and I love to play with other dogs. I am quiet (for a puppy), very gentle with people, and I learn commands quickly. Once you earn my trust, I will awe you with my loyalty and affection, and we can explore the world (or just the park) together.

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Everyone is in such a hurry these days! Me? I just like to take it easy. I’m a relaxed, older lady who enjoys sleeping on the couch, staying in to binge-watch Netflix, and taking life easy. Unfortunately, my owners of 8 years had to give me up, so I need a new home to call my own. I don’t need much in the way of material things—just a soft place to lay and some snacks—but I appreciate as much love and affection as I can get. I am an excellent walker, housebroken, and I really enjoy a good sniffing expedition. If you’re like me and you prefer a warm bed, a good book, and having someone next to you to enjoy them both, I think we would get along great.

Hi… my name is Jack (aka Lloyd),

Adopted 6-22-25

When I came to TALGV after my owner of eight years had to rehome me, it didn’t take them long to figure out that my favorite things, in order, are: chasing balls, snacks, and chasing balls. Yes, I am an excellent walker on a leash. Yes, I enjoy scratches and belly rubs. Yes, I’m housebroken. They say I’m well-behaved and very sweet (oh, and handsome). The people here really love when I smile at them, and I figured out quickly that smiling gets me plenty of snacks, so I guess I’m also smart. I’m basically the total package! If you have snacks, like throwing the ball, and want a best friend for life, I may be the guy for you. I don’t need a lot, but I can offer a lifetime of love in return.

Hi… my name is Orion,

Adopted with Estela 6-3-25

What is cuter than a Boxer puppy? Me—a Boxer mix! I have all the cuteness and silly antics that Boxers are known for, but I don’t snore nearly as much. I’m a little reserved at first, but I warm up quickly. I love playing with other dogs, and I can hold my own with dogs who are bigger than me. I met a cat once—it scared me, but I didn’t chase it, so these nice people gave me a treat. I am learning to walk on a leash, sit, and follow other commands here in my puppy preschool, and they say I’m a shining star! I’d love to be part of your universe, so come by and see me today.

Lua

Hi… my name is Lua (aka Espresso),

Adopted 5-27-25

When my family moved, they couldn’t find me…so I was left behind, outdoors. I don’t know why but they couldn’t come back for me. I have so much to offer: I’m affectionate, will jump in your lap, and I really respond to brushing. I will approach you to greet you when you enter my room. My black fur is shiny and sleek, just like a polished black patent shoe. My eyes are a luminous yellow. I like to play, too! What else could you need? I’m waiting to meet you and I hope we can set up house together soon (indoors only, of course!).

Hi… my name is Angel,

Adopted 7-19-25

While I don’t have wings, I do have a new feather in my cap, umm… I mean, collar: Dog Playgroup Rockstar! I love playing with other sociable dogs and helping shy pups gain confidence. I’m quite a social butterfly (again, without wings.) Not much is known about my past since I was found as a stray, but everyone at TALGV agrees my name fits me perfectly. I’ve got great manners, especially on leash, and a heart as big as my goofy grin. I’m around a year old, with a soft, wavy coat and a happy, social spirit. I’m a little bit of this and that breed-wise, which adds up to 100% sweetheart and 1000% good girl. I love walks, cuddles, and just being near you. All I need now is my halo… and that’s YOU!

Bo

Hi… my name is Bo (aka Rain),

Remember those ads about a famous athlete with the slogan “Bo Knows?” Well, this Bo knows plenty, including sit, down, place and more! I walk like a champ (especially away from the shelter). I love to make friends with other dogs, chase toys like a pro, and turn on the charm with my goofy grin. I’m a Malinois mix – of awesomeness! My looks equal my smarts. I learn fast and, while I enjoy being active, I also enjoy my naps. Cats might not appreciate my enthusiasm, but people sure do! I’m too much for a family with little kids (I might accidentally knock them down). If you’re looking to recruit a teammate to join your family —someone ready for adventure, training fun, and unconditional love, look no further…this Bo knows he’ll fit in perfectly!

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.
