So you think your house is active? After my mom moved away, a friend took me in until she could come back for me, but that never happened. The sudden change was bad enough, but when I discovered that my new home had dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, bearded dragons (the only creature missing was “a partridge in the pear tree”!), and 8 kids ranging in age from 18 months to 14 years, I was totally overwhelmed. My foster mom said that I was “a diamond in the rough,” who was good with the kids, okay with the dogs, but thought that I’d be happier as an only feline. So as a lovely, longhaired tuxedo lady, I’ll bet with just a bit of polishing, I’ll be the sparkle in your life!

My former owner said I was “great with cats,” (I hear not everyone can say that), know some important commands, and love to cuddle. Don’t let my tipped left ear fool you – I’m not feral, even though it was my “job” to be a “working cat” at a pumping station. The wonderful lady who took me to be spayed (courtesy of TALGV’s Outreach Program!) discovered that I was really a sweetheart and deserved a home of my own, so here I am, dreaming of just that. While she fostered me, she said that I still “got a little tense” when being picked up (lots of cats are that way!), but that I’m “fearless” (except for the vacuum cleaner and car!), outgoing, curious about everything, and a very funny, playful teenager. I lived with two dogs and six cats and got along great with them, so I think I’m ready made for a real home. I hope you’ll agree!
