My world changed when my person died last year. Another family member took care of my brother, Happy, and me, but they couldn’t do that long-term. So coming here to TALGV was another big change for us, but you know how resilient dogs can be. Given a little time and kindness, we once again find the good things in life, and that’s what I’ve done. Plus, as a good-natured Shepherd (except with cats!) I’m eager to be devoted to and happy with my person. I’m a 5 1/2-year-old male, an exceptionally handsome black and tan Shepherd mix, who’ll be ever so happy to meet you. Won’t you please come see if I’m the dog for you? If you welcome me to your home forever, I’ll be your loyal companion for forever, too.

He is in good health and has received shots and certificate from TALGV for free neuter. He is used to other small dogs and older kids, but cats are unknown. This smart little pup was born on March 23, 2016. House training is being started and he is learning quickly since this is prime time for it. MORTY is a 9 ½-pound boy who loves to cuddle and be on your lap.
