Hi… my name is Zoey,

Adopted October 8, 2015

You may notice my beautiful coat first, the interesting black, grey and white combination. That’s probably thanks to being a Belgian Malinois/Heeler mix, two beautiful breeds. Please notice, too, that I’m still a young girl, just 7 months old, active and eager with lots to learn. When my owner had to move and could not take me, she gave me to someone else, but that didn’t work for either of us. So now I’m here, hoping another someone with love and patience will take me home. I know “sit” and “shake,” and TALGV volunteers are teaching me other things, like how to walk on a leash. I love to play in rain and water from the hose and have a very sweet side, too. Could you be the one I’m longing to meet?

GINGER is an adventurous, playful, and sweet 3-month-old medium-coated shepherd mix female who was left in a wash by her mom. Finder is unable to keep Ginger and her sibling, Bailey, as they already have several pets. Her shots are up to date and she has a certificate for spay courtesy of TALGV. Ginger is shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she is a love. She especially enjoys playing with children. She is quickly being potty, crate, and leash trained. Hi… my name is Curtis,

Adopted December 14, 2015

When I was lost, I tried to find a home.   A fellow opened his front door and there I was, wearing my friendliest face. He helped by bringing me to TALGV, where the volunteers now sing my praises. They say I’m an exceptionally smart, easy-going guy, and, like most Labs, a great combination of eager to play and eager to please. I love playing fetch—not only will I bring the ball back, I’ll drop it for a return toss and leave it when told—and my response to “sit” or “down” is instantaneous. You could probably teach me even more! I’m a happy, good-looking black Lab with white markings, and I am so ready for my forever home. Please let it be with you!

Hi… my name is Mitzi,

Adopted October 8, 2015

Mitzi comes with Free Vet Care for Life.

Not long ago, I had a happy home with people I loved, who loved me back.  We were together for 12 years.  Then my people died.  I lost them and my home.  If you think this is hard for me, you’re right. I’m trying to be brave and my TALGV friends are helping me a lot. They’ve suggested I brag on myself, so here goes:  I know the sit, stay and lay commands, I like to go on walks and play fetch, and I’m very experienced at being a sweet, loving companion, plus I come with Free Vet Care for Life.  I’m black and gray, a Mexican Hairless Chihuahua mix female, and though I’m still feeling shy, I would love to meet you.  And if you take me home with you, I promise to be the best me that I can be.

Hi… my name is Shiloh.

My friend, Jocko, and I lived together until a new baby was born to our family.   The new parents worried that we might play too boisterously around the newborn, and they just didn’t have time for training. So now I’m here, hoping that someone will look into my big brown eyes and see the great buddy I can be. I’m a good-looking, black and tan 5-year-old Shepherd mix female; active and playful. I’m already great at tug-of-war and if you know other games, we can have lots of fun playing those, too. Honestly, giving and receiving attention is my favorite thing. When you give me your time and love, I’ll give it back to you wholeheartedly. If that sounds good to you, I’m hoping we can meet real soon.

Hi… my name is Scampi.

Adopted August 14, 2015

When you’re a dog without a home, lots of places can be dangerous.   My friend, Skippy, and I were found in a very dangerous place—the middle of a busy road. We’re sure grateful to the man who stopped to help us. And now that we’re safe, I’m focused on happy days ahead. I’m an 18-month-old Wirehaired Terrier female, and at just 16 pounds, I’m little in size but big in personality. I’m also super friendly and energetic. Fun things for me include playing in water—running through sprinklers is all kinds of fun– and if my playfulness keeps you entertained, all the better!   I say life is to enjoy and best when shared. If you agree, I hope we can meet. Maybe the happy home I dream of will be with you!

Hi… my name is Blue.

Adopted August 13, 2015

Wouldn’t it be great if dogs always went along when their people moved? My buddy, Bali, and I think so. We lived together, but when our people moved, we didn’t get to go because the new place was smaller and there was no room for us.   Now we’re hoping to find new homes. I’m a 52-pound Heeler male, black, white and tan, and still young enough to have lots of energy and playfulness. Playing ball is one of my favorite things. I know the sit and outside commands, and would love to spend time with you learning more. I think the best thing in the world would be to have a truly forever home. If you have room in your heart and home for me, I would love to be your new best friend.
