COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

When you look in my eyes, do you see my happy heart? Trust me, it’s there! I’m a senior dog with lots to be happy about these days. When my former family thought I wouldn’t do well at their new home, I came to The Animal League, where volunteers—my new friends—immediately called me “very sweet.” They said I’d have Vet Care Support for Life, a big plus, and their kind attentions were wonderful. Then, something super-wonderful happened! A TALGV volunteer offered to foster me!  Now I’m peacefully living with other dogs and cats, eating well, enjoying walks, and Foster Mom reports I adore Foster Dad. (That’s true.) I’m a happy andgrateful dog who looks forward to every new day.  All I need now is a forever home. Could that be with you?

Hi… my name is Coco (aka Lola Belle),

Adopted 4-5-25

I am a pretty, sweet, medium sized dog with a beautiful, all-black coat. A nice lady took me in when my owners did not have time for me. Despite my age, she said I was good while in her house but that I need some help with potty training. She had other dogs and they showed me that life can be quite different from what I was used to. Even now I am most comfortable when I have a doggy companion who is confident around people. It helps me to come out of my shell to enjoy getting treats and being petted. Do you have a dog who could use some company and be my mentor? Then look no further and come to see me!  (8-2022)

Hi… my name is Kilo (aka Pincher),

Adopted 5-10-25

I prefer the pronunciation, “Keye-low,” please. I’m 3 ½ years young, house-mannered, and fluent in human (well, at least the “sit,” “stay,” and “good boy” parts). I’m a toy enthusiast, walk connoisseur, and certified expert in head tilts. I was recently returned to the shelter—through NO fault of my own (I swear!)—but because my people had to move. I miss having a family, but I’m hopeful someone awesome (like you?) is out there. I prefer small gatherings to big parties—less chaos, more belly rubs. I’ve got movie star looks, soulful eyes, and ears that double as weather vanes. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with charm, smarts, and a heart full of love, I’m your guy. Swipe right—I mean, stop by and meet me. Let’s make each other’s lives better.

Adopted 3-10-25

Gracie is a smart, loving, and energetic 2-year-old, 80-pound German Shepherd/Lab mix female who needs a new home due to owners’ medical issues. She rides well, is good on leash and would appreciate daily long walks. She is crate trained, house trained and will ask to go out. Gracie responds to hand signals and voice commands sit, come, and stay. She is spayed and in good health. She loves to fetch and catch her ball and enjoys her peanut butter toy. Gracie loves her humans and will stay close beside you; she also gets along with other dogs and cats; children are her favorites. She likes to watch animal shows on TV. Gracie will love having attention in an active home and learning how to be your best friend. There is no adoption fee for this special girl. If you will welcome Gracie into a loving home as part of your family, please call Jimmy any time at 954-504-2713.

Hi… my name is Bang,

Adopted with Borger 7-14-25

I’ll admit that I need a “cat-ittude adjustment” since my behavior is rather erratic. What do you expect from a gal named Bang? I am mama to the Loud Litter. My kittens are friendly so there’s hope for me. Because they are doing well on their own, I’m ready to find my own home. What could you provide? I need calm human(s) to understand I need time to adjust to living in a home. As a stray, I had to fend for myself, so having people care for me is something new. I’m beginning to like it. I need your patience to blossom into a friendly personality. Perhaps a new name would help? What do you say?

Hi… my name is Borger,

Adopted with Bang 7-14-25

When my owner could no longer keep me, I eventually came to The Animal League. Very little information about my past came with me, so I have a little mystery to go along with my sleek black coat and luminous eyes. I’ve been performing my “shy” act, staying up on a high perch and avoiding human interaction. Since I did live in a home before, I think I could remember how to perform a “friendly” act with a little encouragement. I’m still young and impressionable. Would you be the person to give me that encouragement? Please come meet me and give me a chance.

Hi… my name is Logan,

Adopted 4-26-25

What can I say? I’m a stray who came from another shelter to The Animal League. I’m happy to be in a safe place, but I’m not expressing that in my body language. I’m shy and somewhat discombobulated by the turn of events that brought me here. The kind volunteers assure me that there is a family who would like me to be their pet. And with my sleek, black coat and young age I’m very desirable. (You know that black goes with any décor!) I may not be a kitten anymore, but I have years of playtime and companionship in me! So please come meet me. I’m waiting for you.
