When I arrived here, I was not in good shape. I was found outside and a nice woman brought me in. She probably saved my life! I was very dirty and needed medication, and I can say that the TLC they dish out here is the best! I’m now a healthy girl and ready for a nice, safe indoor home. I express my happiness by purring when you pet or scratch me. I’m pretty mellow, and enjoy hanging out on a cat tree. Commotion all around doesn’t faze me! If you are ready for a cute companion who wants to chill with you, come look me up. We could be made for each other.

When I fell out of a box at Walmart as a kitten, employees rescued me and I was adopted into a home with lots of other animals. It was okay for a long while, but eventually the other seven cats began picking on me and I hid a lot. After my litter box habits suffered, I was brought here to The Animal League. Lately I’ve been lounging on top of a high enclosure with some other shy cats, but the volunteers here are able to coax me out and pet me—I reward them with purring. I seem to have “cleaned up” my litter box habits. This girl is looking for a nice, quiet home!

My buddy Pesto and I were rescued from someplace and brought to The Animal League. After what seemed like forever, we are ready to be adopted! I’m a little skittish, not being used to humans. I really like the other cats here and would like to not be an only pet. My coat is a sleek black but I have a few white hairs on my chest. Won’t you come play with me and take me home? I’ve been asked to tell you my story and I’m glad to do it. I’m a dog. I like having a job. There’s just one problem. I was found running down a busy road and I don’t remember much before that. For now, I’ll just say a big thank you to the kind woman who stopped for me and brought me safely here. Since then, I’ve made lots of new Animal League friends. One of them taught me how to “sit” on my first day! Another time, I solved a dog puzzle and was told that I’m as smart as I am handsome! Did I mention I’m just 1 year old? Fun-loving and fun to have around, I’d like to make friends with you, too. Who knows? We might start our own story together!
