This first year of my life has been rather eventful. I was found at a Tucson gas station: alone, skinny and very hungry with patches of fur gone. My rescuer brought me to her home for a few days. Because I was so scared of her barking dogs, she brought me to The Animal League where I would have the opportunity to show off my quiet, sweet personality. Upon arrival, I was put into foster care until I had my kittens. Now we are all ready to be adopted. I am ready to be cared for in my own quiet home. I have a silky black fur coat. Pet me, please. I need my own human!

As part of the Magic Word Litter, I’m a handsome lad with black, silky fur. My eyes probe yours to see if you will gently pet me. When you do, I will purr. During these past months the volunteers have been proving to me that there are kind people who will care for me. (Far cry from my past: being abandoned with my litter mates in a box at The Animal League door!) I snuggle with my feline buddies on a cozy blanket. Loyal. Playful. Happy! Let’s face it, a construction related name like mine doesn’t conjure up warm and fuzzy feelings, at least, not until you meet me! My brother Brick and I were found wandering near some stores, obviously lost. We looked to be in great shape, but our owners weren’t found. We were kind of scared when we first got to The Animal League, but we have quickly learned how to make friends and earn these yummy things called “treats.” I’m a friendly guy, and the more outgoing one of the two of us. While I might be just a wee bit too rambunctious for young children, older ones are likely okay. Oh! I passed my initial ‘cat test’ (full disclosure: they kind of scared me). So, if you’re looking for a young guy to be part of your loving, active and happy family, I’m ready to report to work…and play!

I’m into togetherness; are you? I love to play but I prefer to sit in a human’s lap and cuddle. I don’t even mind when another cat jumps on top of me (as sometimes happens at The Animal League.) I just cuddle with them, too! You might find that surprising since my littermates and I were rescued from outdoors, but our rescuers tamed us, teaching us good manners. While with them, I even learned to purr! I’m affectionate and friendly and playful, too! I’m so ready to love my own human! Could that be you? How about expanding your social circle to include me, a handsome tuxedo boy who loves people? I’m here waiting.
