Hi… my name is Sunshine,

Adopted 11-29-23

I’m known to people, familiar with me, as a gal with a “sunny” disposition. With that endorsement, what name could possibly be a better fit for a sweet, affectionate, 3-year-old Staffie mix like me! My previous owner said I behave well in the house, ask to go out, and over all I’m a “good dog.” I’m also crate and leash trained, but because I am a strong walker, he decided he could no longer handle me. I know the commands “sit,” “stop,” “down,” and “stay” and enjoy playing with toys, but sharing, not so much. I’d probably do well in a home with older children. I’ve been an only dog, but previously I have enjoyed meeting other dogs in TALGV’s playgroup. Now please, just let the “sunshine” in, and let it be Me!

NOTE: Sunshine has been social, tolerant, and playful when meeting other dogs in TALGV’s playgroup. She would like to meet any resident dogs before adoption to your home.

Hi… my name is Midnight,

Adopted 4-7-24

Elvis got it wrong. While I’m thought to be a hound-mix, I certainly don’t go “crying all the time.” I prefer to go on sniffaris to inspect the wonderful scents. I was found without any ID and started hanging around a nice lady’s home where lots of other dogs lived. She kindly fed me while looking for my people.  Unfortunately, nobody came for me, so now I’m with my new friends at the Animal League where I’m safe and cared for. I do get scared if other dogs bark at me; however, I’m building up my bravery. What I’d like more than anything is to get out of this place and find my own family, but I’m told I need to wait for people to come to me. Darn! Will you please show up soon!

Hi… my name is Savy,

Adopted 5-25-24

Are you ready “fur” a kitty? Well, if you are, I came in with nine others, and we are all just as sweet as can be! Why are we here? Too many cats and dogs in the home. So here we are waiting to be adopted. I’m a handsome, suave lad with a silky black fur coat and tantalizing orange eyes. I have soft fur and enjoy being petted. I’m tolerant of a home filled with activity. After all, I lived with children, several large dogs and several cats. I “roll with the punches” so to speak. Please come check me out! I’m ready for a life’s share of experiences with you! Are you ready for me?

So here we are waiting to be adopted.  I wear a silky black coat of fur. My golden eyes show my caution in meeting others. I’m shy. My sister Zelda and brother Solar and I are all tolerant of a home filled with activity. After all, we lived with children, other cats, and large dogs. We “roll with the punches” so to speak. Hi… my name is Athos,

Adopted 10-21-23

Once upon a time, three young dogs were found all alone in a desert wash. I was one of those dogs, the 18-month-old male, and even I can’t tell you how we got there. Let’s just say we were lost but lucky because a kind person found us and brought us here. The two females in our trio already have been adopted, and I admit to feeling lonely right now.  Oh, I have lots of new TALGV friends. We go on walks, they feed me, keep me company, and are patiently helping me become more confident. I’m a 24-pound Heeler with a beautiful black coat and speckled paws, quietly dreaming of life as a happy, carefree dog in a wonderful place called home. Could you be the one to make my dream come true?
