I’m a 9-month-old female Lab/Heeler mix, who feels a little lost and anxious. You see, everything is strange to me, and I’m trying to adjust to my new surroundings and canine neighbors. I’m curious about other dogs, but I don’t know how to approach them! I’ve been told excited barking isn’t the correct procedure. What I do love are the people who come to visit me. It doesn’t take long for everyone to see what a lovable, happy, playful pup I am. Imagine the kind of dog I’ll become once I’ve learned some basic commands. I’m FeLV-positive so can’t live with other cats, but it’s not transmissible to dogs or humans and I can live many happy years with you. In addition to THAT, I’m an absolutely adorable, 4-month-old, happy-go-lucky girl who’s predictably “all kitten.” I love playing with furry wands and bell balls, on cat trees, in your bed, on your lap, or beside you. Blind cats don’t often arrive at TALGV, but another guy and I were relinquished within days of each other, so it was “the blind leading the blind” for a while. I tried, but we didn’t get along too well, so I’m exploring my own little habitat, and like all sight-impaired critters, it’ll just take time to adjust to new surroundings. I’m a laidback gentleman who has high blood pressure so am on meds for that, but otherwise I’m in pretty good shape for a 12-year-old (with Vet Care Support for Life). I’m awfully sad here without a person of my own, so living with you in a quiet home would absolutely make my year!
