Well, you sure wouldn’t know that I’m a 14-year-old by looking at me! I’m a petite, vocal lady who lost her dad because he had to move into a “no pets allowed” assisted living facility. Some of my favorite things are rubbing noses, purring, and getting all the attention you up for giving. OK, I’ve lost a few teeth along the way (haven’t we all?), but it doesn’t hinder my eating one bit (I like Friskies shreds and Purina kibble). I’m hyperthyroid, so need a pill a day, but I have Vet Care Support for Life for other stuff “just in case.” My “golden years” are just starting so won’t you share them with me?

Well, here I am – ready to go out on my own after raising the “window” litter (Anderson, Milgard, and Cascade – how’re those for names?). My rescuer found us under the car in her carport when my kids were five weeks old, so who knows how I managed to feed and keep us all alive for so long outside? I obviously did a good job though, ‘cause we’re all healthy and well adjusted, and oh-so-ready to move on to the next chapter of our lives. I’m a dainty, glossy-black lady, only about a year old, and I promise that making you happy (indoors only) for years and years is my main goal in life!

I may be a young pup, but I already know some of the basic commands. I know how to sit, wait, heel, and it’s also been reported that I understand the “off” command. I tend to get excited and somewhat rambunctious when people come to visit, but if you’re willing to be patient and spend time working with me, it shouldn’t take long for me to settle down. I also believe I’m quite intelligent and I’ll make a good student and an excellent addition to your family. I should also mention I’m soft and cuddly! Once upon a time, I lived with three other cats and got along okay with them, but in my most recent home, I decided that being your one and only was way preferable and exactly what I was cut out for. My dad said I’m a great cat who sometimes gets into to places I shouldn’t (like the counters and near the stove), but I’ll get the idea that those things are verboten with a few spritzes of vinegar water to remind me they’re off limits.
