Hi… my name is Aquarius,

Adopted 1-18-24

“This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.”  Yes, I’m ready to be adopted!  I’ve had my kittens and they are finding their own homes, so it’s my turn to be adopted. When you come to The Animal League to meet me, I will greet you and ask to be petted. You will notice my cute rusty-pink nose and mouth, sort of like I put lipstick all over my face. I’m petite and pretty. I lived with my human mom all my life. When she downsized into an apartment, there was no room for me and my five kittens. When will the Age of Aquarius begin? When YOU adopt me into my forever home!

Hi… my name is Smitty,

When my human mom became ill and could no longer care for my feline pal Toby and me, she brought us to The Animal League. Although sad to lose our home, Toby and I are being well-cared for here. About me, mom said: “Smitty is very laid back and sweet.  He loves to walk by you and rub his head on you. He is good with other cats, dogs, turtles, and birds. He’s lazy and loves head scratches and treats. He can sleep anywhere but usually on his cat bed.” Recently, I was diagnosed with diabetes so am in foster care receiving special medical treatment. But, hey, that won’t stop me from loving you! Let’s make arrangements to meet.

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may  call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Ladybird,

Adopted 7-10-23

“These are a bunch of really nice, sweet cats.” That’s what they said when we came to TALGV from PACC because they were so overcrowded. We were lucky that there was space for us here, but I must admit going through the intake “rigmarole” at both places really left us a bit confused (you can be certain I’m well vetted though!). At heart, I’m a loving (and vocal!) tabby lady who got along well with all my feline companions (they’ve been adopted, lucky them!), so I hope that my days of not being sure where I’m going to wake up in the morning are behind me because that place will always be with you!  (5-2020)

Hi… my name is Mr. Murphy,

Adopted 7-9-23

My owner couldn’t care for me any longer, so here I am at The Animal League looking for love!  According to my previous owners, I like to talk and be talked to, I like to head butt, and be played with and petted. I get along with other cats and dogs. One of my favorite times of the day is naptime—which can be any time, of course. I like the high perches here, but I’ll quickly jump down for attention. I’m a handsome brown tabby with white feet. If you’re looking for a friendly companion that is pretty easy-going, look no further. Come meet me!

Syd

Hi… my name is Syd,

Adopted 10-6-23

Well, I was happy for a couple of years, but then Dad was moving and couldn’t take me along. That left me momentarily scared about my future. But now I’m back to my happy self. I’m used to being around people but I can be a little rough, so I’m not good with kids. I like to play, especially with plastic straws.  Plus, I’m very affectionate and love to be petted. I’ll roll over on my back and purr for petting! I’m still pretty young and very handsome with a distinctive white kisser. I’d like to find a home where I can show off my sweet disposition.  Come introduce yourself, and let’s get acquainted.

Hi… my name is Cutie,

Adopted 2-17-23

When mom died my whole feline family of eleven had to find new digs. Luckily we were brought to The Animal League. We all get along together and enjoy human companionship. I’m really looking for someone to pay attention to me, and will usually follow the volunteers around the room so they will give it to me. I love laps, playing and petting, and will rub your face and purr for you. My long-haired coat is gorgeous and my personality is sparkling! I do have an eye condition that hampers my vision in one eye, but otherwise it doesn’t seem to bother me right now and doesn’t require any treatment. Won’t you come meet me?

Hi… my name is Prestige,

Adopted 2-18-23

My name denotes admiration for certain qualities. As a stray, I appreciate being so named. Would you like to know my qualities? I’m a handsome, sturdy, gentle guy. I was found in a garage sleeping in a baby carriage by the woman who brought me to The Animal League. I checked out A-OK here and am finding my own kind of  creature comfort in cat tree cubbies. I’m learning the kindness of TALGV volunteers who talk with me and pet me. This is better than life on my own. However, even better would be for you to take me home with you! I’m waiting to meet you.
