Hi… my name is Simon,

Adopted 8-11-21

You don’t usually associate a noble bearing with a super warm personality, but I’m sure the exception! I give the image of the “king of the jungle” new meaning with my regal looks, but just sit down near me for a few seconds and I’ll be in your lap waiting for petting and long meaningful chats. A while back, I had a belly rash that no one seemed to be able to cure (they’ve done a bang-up job of it at TALGV, though!), and my mom could no longer care for me. I’ve been treated and recovered beautifully here, and I’m ready for a new human to love. I do so hope it’s you!

Hi… my name is Trouble,

Adopted with Peaches 5-27-21

People sometimes forget how much attention kittens need, want, and, most importantly, deserve for them to turn into well-adjusted adults. We’re adorable as all get-out when we’re bouncing-everywhere little fur balls (well, we’re pretty endearing all our lives; we youngsters just take a lot more “work” as we grow up!). That’s what happened when our 90-year-old mom decided that she was just “too old” to give my sister, Peaches, and me proper care. She was moving, too, so that added to her decision to give us a chance for a new home. Peaches, and I are really bonded, so we need to stay together, but that’ll just be that much more fun for us all!

Hi… my name is Crabcake,

Adopted 6-30-22

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

I’ve only myself to blame. When my housemate died, I decided to be the alpha with all the other animals and did some very unladylike things to demonstrate my dominance. Well, obviously that didn’t work, ‘cause here I am, homeless (and now at 12 years, with Free Vet Care Support for Life). Even after a year, I’m mighty unhappy about things and am having trouble adjusting, but my mom said that the “real me” loves catnip, sitting in windows and watching birds, hunkering down in laps, and am sweet natured when I get to know you. So all I ask is your patience to help me make a new start as your one and only.

Hi… my name is Lilly,

Adopted 4-4-20

Lilly comes with Free Vet Care for Life.

If you’re looking for a constant companion, that’s my specialty! I was exactly that to my recently deceased human mom and my brother (who, they couldn’t find when they brought me here – but I still have hope he’ll turn up!). Although I’m shy at first, I’m affectionate and loving when I get to know you, and I really bond with older people after we’re together. I’m a lovely lady (especially if you’re one of the many classic tabby fans!) with soft “chinchilla” fur, and I come with Vet Care Support for Life ‘cause I’m 14 and also FeLV-positive, so if you have a peaceful abode that you’d like to share, please think of me first!

Hi… my name is Nala,

Adopted 1-5-20

“These are a bunch of really nice, sweet cats.” That’s what the volunteers said when we came to TALGV from Pima Animal Control Center because they were so overcrowded. We were all lucky that there was space for us here, but I must admit going through the intake “rigmarole” at both places really left me a bit confused (but you can be certain I’m well vetted!). I’m an 8-year-old lady who obviously gets along with other cats (in case you have one who’d like a friend!). I do so hope that my days of not being sure where we’re going to wake up are behind me, because that place will always be with you!

Hi… my name is Flip Flop,

Adopted 8-30-19

Comments from foster family:

FLIP FLOP has the most beautiful face and she looks like she wants to actually talk to you when she looks into your eyes! She is known in her foster family for having the most adorable sleeping positions. She could be a kitten calendar model because she always falls into the prettiest, cutest poses as she naps. Flip Flop is probably the calmest of the bunch and loves a good booty scratch. She loves to play … and nap. Because it’s cute.

Hi… my name is Mushu,

Adopted 7-3-19

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life.

When my mom went into a nursing home, the family brought me here because they couldn’t care for me. Mom’s son said, “Mushu just wants to sit on your lap and purr. She’s old and doesn’t deserve this, but we have no choice. She may not be around too much longer, but we want her to be happy.” They say cats are like rainbows – kittens are the joy on one end and older cats are the treasure on the other, and at 20 years old, I definitely qualify for the pot of gold (as well as vet care support)! I have unlimited love to share, so why not lay claim to the treasure that’s me?

Hi… my name is Butternut,

Adopted 8-5-19

They say “any port in the storm” and that’s sure true for me ‘cause I chose a DOG HOUSE to give birth to my six kittens (happily, it was unoccupied at the time)! The kind homeowner was good enough to let us use it for a while, but even though we were protected from the elements, we needed lots more TLC, so we went to a foster mom ‘til my babies were ready for adoption. Well, now it’s MY turn to shine, and that I do in spades. I’m a petite, affectionate 2-year-old girl who’s ever so ready to have my own home, and in my catnaps I’m dreaming it’s right around the corner!
