KK

Hi… my name is KK,

Adopted 7-15-17

My real name is “Kitty Kitty,” but when I arrived there were already several variations on that theme, so I became “KK.” My senior mom said I and was very loving, but didn’t get along with other animals and wasn’t particularly fond of “male adults.” Now that now she’s moving to a “no pets” apartment, you know my predicament: I have to find a new home too. Truth be told though, I was put outside when she went to bed, so maybe it’s for the best, ‘cause there are a lot of things that go bump in the night, and I was lucky to have avoided them! I’m a handsome 5½-year-old Siamese/Manx mix boy who’ll be happy to spend my many remaining years indoors with just you!

Hi… my name is Yodi,

Adopted 4-13-17

Yodi comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

How many cats have you seen that have an “outie” bellybutton? OK, that’s probably not the most distinguishing of attributes, especially since I’m also an unusual Tonkinese (a cross between a Siamese and Burmese) that you don’t see every day, but it does make me “stand out” as it were! After my mom died unexpectedly, her best friend (who’s known me all my life) brought me here and said I was very sweet, not at all aggressive, and although a bit shy, as I learn to trust you, I’m more and more outgoing. I’m a declawed 15-year-old gentleman (with free vet care) who adores being combed and brushed and sleep with you, so if love is what you’re after, that makes two of us!

Hi… my name is Mocha,

Adopted 2-14-17

Three new mouths to feed were three too many for our person, so my brothers and I came to TALGV, where the food is yummy. Equally delightful, play time here is all day and all night—except when we’re napping, which happens a lot. We have fun running around, jumping (our puppy hop-pounce kind of thing), and love it when humans come to play and cuddle with us! We’re friendly, fun-loving Chihuahua/Poodle mix pups; I’m an adorable male with a buff coat (darker than my sister’s buff coat). Just 2.74 pounds on arrival, I’m still growing and have lots to learn. If you take me home, I’ll need your love, time and patience, and will try to make you smile every day. Won’t you please come see if my puppy love is for you?

Hi… my name is Driver,

Adopted 7-26-17

Like much of what’s worth waiting for in life, I’m a “work in progress”! My sister, Putter, and I were found in a barn where we’d been born to a feral mom. If you know anything about “community cats,” you know that we pretty much have to fend for ourselves, so it’s going to take me a while to learn to trust humans. Now that we’re safe and don’t have to scrounge for food, the volunteers here are really working on our introduction to society, so please stay tuned and watch our progress. One of these days we’re going to have our “coming out party” and I’d love to have you as my “date!”

Hi… my name is Esmaralda,

Adopted 11-13-16

When I was left alone all day, outside by myself, I was lonely. My people just didn’t have time for me, so they brought me here, and right away the volunteers made a fuss over me. They said I was pretty and complimented my soft buff coat, and all their attention made me feel warm and comfy. Then, things got even better! Turns out, fun is good for us! I go on walks and play every day—with people and often another young dog (I’m only about 1 year old myself). The exercise is great because I’m very energetic, and, honestly, the company is even better. I’m a young, playful, loving Shepherd mix female, about 28 pounds, and you’ll be the hero of my life when you welcome me into your happy home forever!

Hi… my name is Precious Girl,

Precious Girl comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

My name is Precious Girl; that’s what my mom called me all my life. Since she died, I travelled a few rocky roads before arriving at TALGV, so now I’m doing my best to appreciate that I’m entering a new chapter of my life. I’m a little cautious around people at the moment, as I’m still never sure whether I’ll have to move on again. The volunteers assure me that that’s not the case though, so with each day that passes, I’m starting to regain my old “precious” persona. At the venerable age of 17, I have free vet care for life, so I’m thinking there’s nothing stopping you from giving me a comfy bed, a warm lap, and lots of love to see me through my golden years.

Hi… my name is Montgomery (aka Monty),

Adopted September 13, 2016

“Mister Personality,” that’s what my mom always called me! “Lively” and “communicative” went along with that too, so you know I’m not going to be the shrinking violet type! Sadly, after mom died, her daughter was unable to take my housemates, Marcella, Casper, and me to live with her, so having come from TALGV originally, we’re back to say “howdy” to everyone and start looking for new people to charm. My life was a quiet but happy one (we all slept with mom to keep her from getting lonely), and I really enjoyed playing with toys and my friends, so a home with another feline would probably be fine (or you could always take us together – that way you’d know there’d be instant “peace in the valley”!).
