Hi… my name is Spirit.

Adopted November 4, 1014.

I’m a very loving, high-energy husky/shepherd mix girl who was adopted from TALGV by a mature couple in February 2009 when I was a year old. Recently my dad died, and mom feels that she alone can’t provide the attention I need. True to my name, I’m very “spirited,” and Central Pet in Amado has volunteered that I can live there for a while so they can continue to oversee my health and training. Everyone agrees that I’m a great (and totally gorgeous!) dog who needs an adopter that is enchanted enough with me to meet my needs (well, you know — just like with every dog!). Why not make an appointment to come visit me and see for yourself?

Arrived October 20, 2014.

Hi… my name is Crickett.

Adopted December 2, 2014.

I’m hopeful that the old adage “third time’s a charm” applies to me, because I have to admit that through no fault of my own, I’ve “been around the block” a few times! Sadly, my previous senior owners had to go into assisted living and I ended back here both times. My recent mom says that I’m a very sweet lady, though, and I love to play with laser lights, crumpled paper, and tossed cat treats (exercise you know!). I am beautiful, 7-year-old, Siamese and dilute torti mix girl with enchanting green eyes, and my goal is to find a home with someone who is a real “cat person” and loves the “chatty” Siamese personality. Will you be the one to give me one more chance?

Arrived October 19, 2014.

Hi… my name is Prissy.

Adopted December 22, 2014.

My mom, a long-time volunteer at TALGV, was obviously “into” calicos as she had five of us (all adoptees of course!), so when she had to go into assisted living, she knew there would be no better place to care for us until we found new homes. Not to toot my own horn, but I’m an awesomely beautiful (and basically sweet) longhaired “dilute” version, and although at the moment, I’m not “into” being picked up (like a lot of cats) I’m sure that when I get over my loss I’ll make your life just as happy as I did my mom’s. Why not “make her day” and take me home so the volunteers can let her know I’ve got a new lease on life?

Hi… my name is Minerva.

Adopted November 3, 2014.

My mom, a long-time volunteer at TALGV, was obviously “into” calicos as she had five of us (all adoptees, of course!), so when she had to go into assisted living, she knew there would be no better place to care for us until we found new homes. Not to toot my own horn, but I’m a drop-dead gorgeous, blue eyed, longhaired “dilute” version, and have a VERY sociable and charming personality to match. I’m the youngest of the bunch, so I’ve got tons of time ahead of me to make your life just as happy as I did my mom’s. Why not “make her day” and take me home so the volunteers can let her know I’ve got a new lease on life?

Hi… my name is Henry.

Adopted May 8, 2015

When my active duty military mom moved to a new posting, pets weren’t allowed so my soul mate, Bob, and I lost our home. Bob was adopted right away, and without him, I became so miserable and intimidated by all the cats here, that a wonderful volunteer took me home to foster. She says I follow her around like a puppy, am fine with strangers, have a “great character,” am very inquisitive and graceful (I do like to jump!), love windows (oh, those birds!), and love to sit beside (not on!) you and snuggle/purr for all I’m worth. I’m a handsome buff tabby boy, and since I’ve lived with another cat, maybe I’d be okay with a similarly laid back feline. Or maybe I’d be just as happy as an only (preferably spoiled) child!

Hi… my name is Weezy.

Adopted January 17, 2015.

My family made a commitment to move to Colorado, and since they didn’t yet have a place to live, my “lady friend,” Lacey, and I couldn’t go along. I’ve got to be up front here and tell you that I haven’t had a lot of leadership in my young life, but boy am I willing and eager to learn! I lived with a family with lots of kids, but spent most of my time playing with them out in the yard, so I need some education in the indoor deportment department! I’m a happy-go-lucky, young American Bulldog/Staffie mix boy and for an experienced person who can provide consistent leadership, I’ll be the find of a lifetime!

Hi… my name is Lacey.

Adopted October 8, 2014.

My family made a commitment to move to Colorado, and since they didn’t yet have a place to live, my “boyfriend,” Weezy, and I couldn’t go along. Mom said I’m a super happy lady who loves to go for walks, know a few basic commands (sit, shake, and slow), and am very tolerant of kids of all ages. She said I’m not fond of strange dogs (although I got along with Weezy just fine), and am very protective of my person and home. I’m a golden Chow/Retriever mix, and if you’d like a settled companion (who also comes with TALGV’s Free Vet Care for Life!), I’d be a perfect fit.

LACEY COMES WITH TALGV’S FREE VET CARE FOR LIFE.
