I’m here at TALGV with Piper, my canine BFF, because our person wants the best for us. Due to health issues, she no longer can give us the care and active lifestyle she wants us to enjoy, so we need a new home where love and fun abound. I’m a 2-year-old female, a beautiful black Terrier mix, about 27 pounds, adorable from the tip of my tail to the tips of my extraordinary ears! I have lots of good manners, but I especially want you to know that my favorite activities are playing, cuddling, and receiving belly rubs. I also love Piper and we really want to stay together. So if you can love us both, we’ll double our efforts to make sure you’re happy being loved every day by your grateful doggie duo!

When I was adopted a couple of months ago, I really liked the people and they liked me, but they said I didn’t get along with their other animals (2 dogs and a cat), so I had to go. Sure, I was disappointed, but now I’m happy to say I’ve made lots of new friends here at TALGV. The volunteers say I’m friendly in an easy-going way, eager to be a pleasing companion, and just plain “good with people.” I’m a Pointer mix female, 3 years old and about 60 pounds, white with black spots and beautiful brindle markings. Commands I know well include “come” and “sit,” and I’m already leash trained. If you come visit me, you’ll make my day. Take me home with you, and I’ll be your faithful friend forever!

I’m a three-legged dog and for me that’s a good thing! My other leg had multiple fractures, so I’m better off without it. Yes, I’ve been through tough times, but the great news is that I did make it through! When I lift my little chin now, I see people smiling down at me, seeing all my good qualities and letting me know I’m safe and with friends. Even so, I’m still shy and I am very afraid of cats, but with gentle people I get to know, I’m a sweetie who just loves to cuddle! Imagine how grateful I’ll be for a calm and comfy home with someone who’ll love and care for me forever. I’ll be the best little companion you could want! Won’t you please take me home with you today?

I’m such a sleek and gorgeous girl that you can hardly tell the difference between the “before I had my babies” pictures when I arrived and now! Despite having been told I was a great mother, I’m really happy now to be on my own and ready to move on in life! I’m a 2-year-old girl who lived with a family (with six kids!), another cat, and several dogs (so you know I’m really laid back!), but the newest baby had terrible allergies, so the family couldn’t keep me any longer. Truth be told, maybe it’s a good thing I came to TALGV, since now that my children are off on their own, I won’t be adding to the feline population any longer and will be ready to love only YOU!
