Hi… my name is Milo,

Adopted November 15,2015

Sometimes it takes no time for new cats to adjust to one another, and sometimes it just doesn’t work out. Sadly, that’s what happened for me, so naturally the resident cat got to stay, and I’m back looking for a one-cat household where I can do my human-loving thing. My erstwhile mom said she fell in love because I love to purr and like all petting (even my tummy!), and spending quality lap time. I’m an arresting, 5½-year-old, silvery mix of Siamese and Persian — a combination that’s pretty much guaranteed to turn heads — and my personality is just as awesome. Although it may take a bit for me to come out of my shell, once I do, “Katie bar the door!” — I’ll be your new best friend!

Hi… my name is General.

Adopted May 2, 2015

When my family adopted me a puppy they thought they were getting a “Labradoodle” that would be a medium-sized guy when grown. Well, one look at me, and you can tell that my real heritage is Irish wolfhound — and although I’m not that big, I turned out to be “more dog” than they could handle. I also had a rather rough start in life, as I had ringworm and was isolated from people, so didn’t get the kind of attention I needed in my formative months. But, boy, do I crave it now! I loved playing with the kids but was a little too rambunctious for them, so I hope I can find a place with a really active family that will help me make up for lost time in the “best friend” department!

Hi… my name is DaVinci.

Calling all chocoholics! As any chocolate lover will tell you, “a chocolate bar is better than a gold bar,” so will a devotee of the Chantilly-Tiffany tell you, “a chocolate Tiffany is better than…well, any other cat.” That’s what it says about us on the Internet — and lots more if you don’t already know us, so check me out! We’re semi-longhaired felines with no undercoat, so grooming is a fairly simple once-a-week job, and we’re easygoing, social, and interested in almost everything. We really love attention and don’t like to be ignored for very long, so plan on having me a big part of your life! I’m a striking, declawed, 3-year-old boy who is loving, affectionate, and, more than anything, yearning to move in with you!

B B

Hi… my name is B B.

Adopted June 6, 2015

When the new baby in my home was born with a heart defect, my people understandably had to spend a lot of time at the hospital and at home caring for him, so they simply didn’t have time for a big gal like me. I lived with them for most of my life, and they said that although I was a high-energy, high-spirited girl, I loved and was gentle with their kids. A friend took me in for a few months, but the little resident terrier (who didn’t like anyone but her mom and the kids) wasn’t about to make a concession for me! So — here I am in all my beauteous glory — a smart, happy 2-3-year-old American bulldog gal who just wants a family to love! Could it be yours?

Adopted January 7, 2015.

PRECIOUS is a cute, calm and sweet 8-pound, 4-year-old (possible) Snorkie (Schnauzer/Yorkie) who needs a new home. Her dad died recently and there were no family members to take her in. Neighbors want to help her find a home and feel she would be happier as an only dog in a calm environment as she was for the past 3 years. Precious is housebroken (asks to go out), walks well on leash, and seems to be very low maintenance. She is a healthy little girl, who is probably spayed as she was rescued from a shelter by recent owner. Her coat is a silky, somewhat shaggy, charcoal color with white accents. There is no adoption fee.

If you will welcome Precious into a loving home as part of your family, please call Susan between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-406-7516.

Hi… my name is Navajo.

Adopted December 21, 2014.

Since I was only a few weeks old when I arrived, I’ve been in foster care ever since, and that translates into getting lots of extra TLC, so I’ve turned into a sweet little cuddle bug who’ll snuggle on my back like a baby in your lap on my back, put my soft little paws on your face, and curl up in your bed when you go to sleep at night. I especially enjoy basking in the sunlight, playing with string, wrestling with my brothers, and have a fantastic purr that you’ll hear pretty much all the time! Having lived in a home where there was a lot of action, I’ve learned to like gentle dogs too. I’m a delightful, mostly all black boy who’ll make your every waking hour a joy!

Arrived September 25, 2014.

Hi… my name is Jupiter Cat.

Adopted September 17, 2014.

As part of the galaxy of the eight “planet kittens,” I’m happy to report that we’re all here safe and sound and ready to spend lots of time “on earth” with families of our own. Were lucky to be here at all as our trailer home was struck by lightening and our family had to find another place to live (it was obvious that finding somewhere that we could ALL go was nigh on impossible!). We’re solid black “octuplets” and each of us is just as sweet as pie. We’re very young right now, and still at that “too endearing for words” stage, so make sure you get in on the antics and take one (or more!) of us home. “Black is back” and we’re here to prove it!

Arrived August 5, 2014.

Hi… my name is Achilles.

Adopted May 6, 2015

Achilles has earned/received his American Kennel Club (AKC)  Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification.

When I first came me to TALGV last year, there was “no room at the inn,” so I stayed at a local boarding kennel for a while where the TALGV volunteers visited and walked me periodically so I didn’t get lonely. Well that was then and this is now, and things sure have changed since then! I’m SO proud to announce that I just earned my nationally accredited Canine Good Citizen award! That means that I’m friendly with strangers, do “heel, sit, down, and stay” on command, come when called, and lots of other “good behavior” things (check it out on the Internet!). I’m a classic black and white Staffie mix boy, now a bit over two years old, who is just aching for a chance to prove that I’m a real winner!
