Hi… my name is Buddy.
I was adopted September 18, 2014.
When my mom died a while ago, there was no one in the family who would take my brother and me in (he already found a home, lucky guy!), so I’m hopeful that there are lots of people out there who will be vying to take me home, too! Given my breed mix (Poodle and Maltese — a “Maltipoo”!) you know that I’m a sweet, gentle, lovable guy who adores (make that CRAVES) human attention. I also got along great with all the kids (ranging in age from two to ten) who visited, so just color me an all around great “find” for someone. I not very old, and have lots of living to do, so let’s do it together, shall we?
Arrived September 2, 2014.

Beaux was adopted September 2, 2014.
BEAUX is a cuddly, smart, and energetic 4-month-old male Malti-Poo who needs a new loving home because older dog does not accept him. Beaux is very social and loving to all people. He has been neutered, has a microchip, and is ready for his next puppy shot. Beaux weighs 7 pounds and sleeps under the bed at night. He was potty trained on pads, goes outside and is generally housebroken, but he needs some additional training in this area. He likes to walk on leash and will sit when asked. Beaux would get along with other dogs that don’t mind his high energy, but cats and kids are unknown. There is no adoption fee for Beaux.

OSCAR is a sweet 4 ½-year-old Champagne-colored Maltese mix boy who was rescued two years ago by current owner. He is housebroken and uses the doggy door, but he really enjoys his morning and evening walks. He is neutered, is up to date on his shots, has a microchip, and medical records are available. Oscar likes other dogs and is very social with everyone; he doesn’t bark, chew or dig. Cats are unknown. He is not obedience trained but really has no bad behavior and sleeps under owners’ bed at night. At 22 pounds, he is about 4 pounds overweight but that is due to food being down all the time for owners’ older dog. Oscar loves being with his people and prefers to be on their laps but there is concern that owner’s frail skin will be damaged by Oscar’s nails so they feel he would be better in another home. There is no adoption fee for Oscar. To arrange a meeting, please call Jim between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-955-7720.

Adopted December 18, 2014.
When I arrived as a teensy baby I went to live with a foster mom until I was old enough to “mingle” here. I had an eye infection that necessitated its removal, but that doesn’t bother me one bit — as a matter of fact, I think it adds a bit of “pirate-like dash” to my looks! Despite how much fun it is to have tons of playmates, I really want a home and family of my own where I can participate in all the kitten activities that aren’t available to me here (like helping with chores, reading the paper, doing Internet searches — stuff like that!). I’m a charming Siamese mix boy who’s past that “go-go goofy” stage but still eager to spend lots of time entertaining you!
Arrived August 12, 2014.

Adopted January 17, 2015.
My family made a commitment to move to Colorado, and since they didn’t yet have a place to live, my “lady friend,” Lacey, and I couldn’t go along. I’ve got to be up front here and tell you that I haven’t had a lot of leadership in my young life, but boy am I willing and eager to learn! I lived with a family with lots of kids, but spent most of my time playing with them out in the yard, so I need some education in the indoor deportment department! I’m a happy-go-lucky, young American Bulldog/Staffie mix boy and for an experienced person who can provide consistent leadership, I’ll be the find of a lifetime!

My family made a commitment to move to Colorado, and since they didn’t yet have a place to live, my “boyfriend,” Weezy, and I couldn’t go along. Mom said I’m a super happy lady who loves to go for walks, know a few basic commands (sit, shake, and slow), and am very tolerant of kids of all ages. She said I’m not fond of strange dogs (although I got along with Weezy just fine), and am very protective of my person and home. I’m a golden Chow/Retriever mix, and if you’d like a settled companion (who also comes with TALGV’s Free Vet Care for Life!), I’d be a perfect fit.
LACEY COMES WITH TALGV’S FREE VET CARE FOR LIFE.
