I was found in the Montana Vista area; I just showed up at my rescuer’s doorstep wanting to be loved. How did I become a stray? I can’t say, but I DO know that I didn’t like it! I want my own home again! I played with my rescuer’s dogs until her female dog attacked me. No, we couldn’t have that, so she brought me to The Animal League. I’m not sure about my future with dogs. After I was lassoed in a “community cat” roundup, they discovered that I wasn’t at all feral, had probably been someone’s loving companion, and was definitely not a candidate for “the outdoor, working life,” so I’m happy as can be about that! I’m still recovering from the experience though and am a smidge shy, but I know in no time I’ll be out and about looking for the person who’ll be the recipient of all my love. I’m still basically a youngster at about 8 months, so we’ll have eons to get to know and love each other, and I think that would be the very best way to spend the rest of my life! (December 2019)

I lost the only home I knew when mom died suddenly—my world has been turned upside-down. I’m adjusting to being here, mostly sleeping on a high perch on a cat tree. I’m enjoying the attention from the volunteers, especially the petting and scratching. I lived with another cat and seem to get along with the cats here too. I have a mostly grey tabby coat with white on my head, neck and paws. I’m hoping to start a new chapter in my life and be a companion to a new human. I’m taking applications for a new home. I lost mine when my human moved and couldn’t take me with her. Sad for me, but let me share my credentials. I like toys, laps, and naps. (Not necessarily in that order!) My human said I was a true lap cat. I also like to sleep on the sofa. I can be very talkative. I’ve never been around children. When I had a short stay in a home with dogs, they did not accept me so I’m not sure about them either! When you meet me, you will notice what handsome gray and white markings I have.
