When you’re born blind, you learn to navigate the world pretty well despite that handicap (it also makes you REALLY love laps and sweet talk for their comfort and security!). I was born in a feral colony and a wonderful woman took me in until her physical limitations precluded her caring for me. She said I liked to play with rattle toys and enjoyed walking on a harness outdoors. My main joy is just being with you (no other cats, please). Just be careful ‘cause I stick really close by, so be sure not to step on me! As a 1-year-old guy, I know I’ll make a loving, lifelong companion, so why not yours?

Here’s a surprise: I’m a 5-month-old who’s “confident, curious, loves to play with toys, likes to attack feathers and toy mice, and loves to snuggle!” But the real surprise is that I’m still here! As a barely-weaned kitten, I was found on a street in Nogales, drenched on one of those VERYrainy July days. My rescuer couldn’t find my mom or littermates, so she took me in, intending to nurse me back to health and then find me a home. Well, the health thing happened, but the home never materialized, so now it’s TALGV’s turn to make sure I find just the right forever home, and I’ll bet yours would be just the ticket!

Although I lost my short-term family, I’m pretty glad I did, ‘cause the intent when I was given to them was to be an outdoor cat. As everyone knows, that is definitely notthe place to live a long and protected life (“happy” it might be; it’s just not safe out there). While I lived with them, my people said that I was playful, sweet, and loved cuddles and kids (ages 4 and 5). So I guess I needn’t say too much more about all my attributes except that I want to be the light of your life, and think it would be extremely cool if you called me “The Kelvinator”! Your choice, of course!

Hi, my name is Oliver. I’m a friendly, outgoing “meeter and greeter” who loves to be part of the action. I lived with a family with young children, other cats, and a small dog; I got along with them all. So, why am I here? The family was moving and brought me in, along with my sister and a buddy. Those lucky guys were adopted already, so now I’m waiting for my forever home. I love toys and laps, am not a fussy eater, and can sleep anywhere. My mom said I was an all-around good family pet. If ever there were an aptly named cat, it’s me! I was a library “meeter and greeter” in my early years and naming me Dewey (after the Dewey Decimal System, of course) was a natural! Well, after I left there, I lived with my mom and my best friend, Britches, and we thought “happily ever after” was going to be our future. Sadly, mom went into assisted living, so here we are, hoping that the “ever after” dream can still be a reality. I’m an 8-year-old, longhaired declawed gentleman, who loves, loves, loves attention, and I’ll be overjoyed to share that love with you (and Britches, too, if we could stay together)!

Let it not be said there’s anything shy about me! After having spent the last two months raising my five kittens in a foster home and them getting all the attention, I am SO ready to be my own “person” and start enjoying all the things that youngsters do (yes, I’m still a youngster at just a year old). I’m curious about EVERYTHING, love getting attention, seem to get along with other cats (at least here), and to top it all off, I have an absolutely beautiful and most unusual ticked orange tabby coat. If you’re looking for entertainment that’s not the totally crazy zoomie kitten kind, I’d sure like to provide that for you!
