When I was lost, I found some fun kids who let me hang out with them. I followed them around their neighborhood until I met their mom, who was real nice to me. When she couldn’t find my owners, she brought me here, and I was adopted pretty quickly. Unfortunately, it turned out that wasn’t a perfect fit and so I’m back, putting my best paw forward in the hope that someone wonderful will notice me. People say I’m strikingly handsome—a tan and white Shar-Pei mix male, about 42 pounds and just 15 months old—but I especially like it when they say what a great dog I am, friendly, attentive and smart. If that sounds good to you, let me show you it’s true. Who knows? We could be best buddies forever!

These days, I’m so happy-go-lucky that I look back only to say an enormous thank you to the people who saved my life! Hard to believe now, but not long ago I was in rough shape—weak, dehydrated, sick, and lost in the desert. Then two young women appeared. If they hadn’t stopped—well, we don’t have to think about that because they did rescue me, bless them! They brought me here, and soon I was receiving proper medical care. With that, plus comfort and love, I started to thrive! Now, I run and play every day, have lots of friends, and enjoy life as a bright, happy puppy with a future to match. A handsome Shepherd mix male, I’m hoping you agree I have the makings of a terrific lifelong companion for you.

When my person had to go to the hospital, I was sent to the back yard. I thought she’d be back for me, but instead someone from the sheriff’s office came and brought me here. Then, my person’s family explained that I couldn’t go home again. It was all kind of confusing, but now I’ve sorted it and understand this is my chance to love someone new! My former person was a woman and her son reports that I love men, too. And my favorite activity? Well, I’m leash trained and if you like to go on walks, you have a partner in me! I’m a Chihuahua mix male, 7+ years old, a happy, mature fellow who’d love to keep you company for a long time to come. How about we get together today!

I can be a very well-behaved fellow, and I’m also a lively, energetic dog who can play like there’s no tomorrow! My rescuer found me near a casino, just walking down the street alone. He took me home that night and gave me food and water; I was too thin when found, so his kindness was much appreciated. He said I was okay being with his shepherd mix dog, and already knew some commands, like “sit,” “paw,” and “lay down.” After coming to TALGV, I’ve enjoyed hearing the volunteers say my handsome appearance makes me look dignified, but please remember that I’m playful, too, and love to have fun. I’m an 18-month-old Staffie mix male, tan and white, 50+ pounds, who’s eager to give all the best parts of me to you!

My finder couldn’t keep me and so left me at a vet’s office. They took care of me overnight and then brought me here, where I’ve heard lots about dogs and happy people taking them home. My adorable sister, Cher, and I were adopted three months ago, when we were 3-month-old puppies, but that didn’t work out. The people said we were too active, so I’ll be completely upfront in telling you I am an active 6-month-old puppy. I love playing with my sister and our toys, I’m curious about the world around me, and have the energy and eagerness to learn good-dog things to please you! My person was very sad to let me go, but her own health issue couldn’t be ignored. We’d been together my whole life, so it’s been a major change for me. I’ve been scared and lonely, but now I understand that “home” will be a new place. I’m a 6-year-old Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix female, and I’m expecting a nice long future with my new someone, maybe even more love and fun than I could imagine! Once I get over my shyness, I’ll do my part, too. Fetch is my favorite game (although I need instruction on bringing the toy all the way back), and I know commands like sit and stay.
