Hi… my name is Holly,

Adopted 1-26-25

If only everyone realized that dogs don’t have a ‘self-training mode,’ there would be fewer of us looking for homes! I’m a petite 38-pound Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and an infectious enthusiasm for life. I’m working hard with my volunteers to fine-tune my leash manners, especially when I spot other dogs, and I’m making great progress! I’m smart, eager to learn, and have tons of energy to share. What I need now is a committed family looking for a happy, energetic girl who understands that a few minutes of reinforced training each day will help me become my best self. I’ll reward you with affection, cuddles, and a belly to rub. Ready to go on adventures? I am and I can’t wait to meet you!

RANGER is a gentle and calm four-year-old, 60-pound, German Shepherd male who needs a new home because grandson is allergic. He was hit by a car 3 years ago and lost his right rear leg, but he is very active, loves to play with his toys, to run and be outdoors. He is house trained, asks to go out, and knows sit, wait, shake, and outside. He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. Ranger is good with children and strangers; other dogs and cats are unknown. He will love having attention in an active home and learning how to be your best friend. There is no adoption fee for this special boy. If you will welcome Ranger into a loving home as part of your family, please call or text Alvin after 6:00 p.m. except Tuesdays between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. at 520-904-9885.

Hi… my name is Queenie,

Adopted 11-24-24

I arrived at TALGV right after being found in the same area as my puppies. I was very shy but am now coming out of my shell. I’m done being a mom; now I have fun doggy friends and a bright future as a single lady. I am very sweet, which everyone can tell by the full-body wiggle I give when I see one of my friends. I prefer quiet walks and naps at home to loud areas—even though I walk well on the leash, cars scare me a bit. I may be a little quiet at first, but once I get to know you, you can expect plenty of love and loyalty from me. If you have a warm doggy bed and an open heart, I’d love to be your new best friend.

Hi… my name is Amos,

TO FOSPICE CARE 11-22-24 / RAINBOW BRIDGE 4-4-25

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

As you know, dogs like to have a job. Right now, as an elderly dog living my golden days, my job is to tell you about fospice. If that’s a new word to you, let me explain. Fospice is a combination of the words “foster” and “hospice.” It’s a temporary home (I won’t be adopted) where end-of-life care and comfort are provided. That’s the concise definition, but the word means so much more to me. It means I feel love and tenderness every day, and I’m safe and important to someone. I may not have many more precious days yet to come, but whatever my future holds, this is what I know for sure: I will not face it alone. My fospice person will be with me. And so for me, most of all, fospice means love.

Hi… my name is Paris,

Adopted 1-11-25

Bonjour! I’m a sweet 8-month-old, 48-pound mixed-breed girl with a heart full of love. I may be a little shy at first, but given a little time, I’ll light up like the beautiful city I’m named after.  While I might be a bit reserved around new people and dogs, I promise that with a little patience, I’ll show you how loyal and eager to please I am. I have a soft spot for les chats (cats), though they might not share my joie de vivre! Like the Eiffel Tower, I’m ready to stand tall and shine with the right family. Will you be the one to help me bloom? I would love to say “Bonne Nuit” as we end each wonderful day and settle in for the night together. Au revoir, for now!
