Heidi is a sweet, obedient, and loyal 8-year-old, 75-pound German Shepherd female who needs a new home.She is crate trained, leash trained, and thoroughly obedience trained. She is housebroken and asks to go out. She is in good health, spayed, up to date on shots and medical records are available. Heidi is easily trained and is not protective of food or toys, but she does not get along well with other dogs; cats and children are unknown. She can be shy until she gets to know you and has mostly been around men. She likes walking but also likes to relax with her person. There is no adoption fee for this special girl. I am currently being successfully treated for a medical issue. I’m an affable boy, a Rottie mix who is approximately 4 years old. I’m at that age where I can appreciate the finer things in life like early morning walks (which I do very well), good food, occasional treats and naps, but mostly someone to love and share my life. It was early afternoon in the Rancho Abrego area, and I was starting to get hot and tired. Suddenly, an open garage door was an invitation, beckoning me to go in. Since I’m a calm, friendly gal, the people invited me to lunch before they brought me to TALGV. I’m an approximately 4-year-old Collie mix, and at only 29 pounds I’d make the perfect companion to blend right in with your family. I immediately made new friends with the volunteers. People noticed I’m a little too submissive, but with their encouragement, I’m on the road to becoming a more confident ME! Hear me roar! When I first arrived at The Animal League, the volunteers could see how very scared and shy I was. I’m still somewhat anxious, but I’ve made noticeable progress. Just ask my friends and they’ll tell you that once I’m comfortable with you, I’m “super sweet” and loving. Small people, I think they’re called children, still make me uncomfortable, but my previous opinion about leashes has changed… they’re no longer an issue! I discovered, while wearing them on my walks, how much fun and adventure was waiting for me… maybe even future visits to the TALGV play yard. Speaking of visits, why don’t you visit me? I’ll be more than happy to meet someone who’ll love me unconditionally! Please remember there are always pleasant surprises waiting just around the corner. Guess who’s waiting for you!
