I’m a mellow, affectionate, fun-loving guy who needs to lose a few pounds (who doesn’t?). Let’s go for long walks so we can both get in shape. I’m a strong boy, so I’ll need someone who can handle me. I’m house trained, leash trained, and know how to sit. I think pools are really fun especially with my toys. I don’t know if I like cats, but I like to play with other big dogs. On a recent outing, I found out I’m not allowed to drive, but I’m just as happy being a passenger. Hi… my name is Peri,

I’m a medium-size female shepherd mix whose foster Dad sings my praises! Here are some of the beautiful things he told me to share with you: “Peri has a sweet, affectionate personality, is smart and well behaved in the house, and she sleeps in her own bed next to mine. She likes my cats, but they refused her invitation to play. She walks well on leash and responds to ‘leave it!’ when she starts to bark at another dog. I’ve been able to leave her by herself for a while and she’s fine (and so is the house) when I return. Peri’s wonderful!” I would add that I love playing fetch with my ball, car rides, and hiking in Madera Canyon. If you want an active, loving companion, I’ll make you “peri” happy!

Bentley is an active and social 2-year-old, 60-pound Shepherd mix male who needs a new home. He is crate trained, leash trained, and obedience trained (sit, down, shake). He is housebroken and asks to go out. He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. Bentley gets along with other dogs and older children; cats are unknown. He loves balls and would be a great running partner. There is no adoption fee for this sweet boy. I’m a true Australian cattle dog; in other words, I’m NOT a couch potato. I need tasks and activities to keep me occupied. I’m good on a leash and would really appreciate someone who’s active and possibly likes to hike. I also enjoy playing and absolutely love car rides. I appear to be housetrained and I use a doggie door, and I know how to sit when told. It may take a while to build trust with me, but when you do I will be affectionate, attentive and willing to learn new lessons.
