Hi… my name is Cisco,

Adopted 9-5-20

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

My former owner said that I’m a sweetheart and love-bug, and she really wants me to get all the love and attention I deserve. At ten years old, my adoption comes with vet care support for life from TALGV. I’m leash and crate trained, am house trained and ask to go out or, if you show me where it is, I’ll use the doggie door. (No cats, please!) I know the commands: sit, lay down, wait, and outside. I love playing in water and with toys and will fetch. If you can open your home and your heart to a dog that needs you, please call TALGV today for an appointment to meet me.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Shadow,

Adopted 7-10-20

I was roaming around Madera Highlands when I stopped to rest in someone’s front yard. Before I knew it, a lady took me into her home and introduced me to her two children and the family dog. For three days, while she tried to find my home, I enjoyed their company. I can use the doggie door and sit on command. The lady said I’m playful and cuddly and ride well in a car. Since I arrived at TALGV, it was discovered I’m good on a leash, and okay in a crate. I’m certain there are many other attributes to be discovered. I’m an approximately 10-month-old Blue Heeler mix and I’m ready for a new home. Please be part of my future and make an appointment to meet face to face.

Hi… my name is Lexi,

Adopted 7-25-20

Did I hear someone mention BALL? I love chasing a ball and playing catch all day and that’s the reason I’m at TALGV. My people are moving into a small apartment without a much-needed yard. I lived with another dog and a cat and even though we got along, I may need some socializing when I’m introduced to new dogs. I’ve had some training and I can sit and stay. I understand the meaning of outside and treat. I’m crate trained and I can use a doggie door. My leash training is a work in progress and I’m being taught how to accept treats gently, like a lady. Please consider calling TALGV to make an appointment for us to meet and maybe, if you want, we can even toss a few balls.

ROSIE is a gentle, sweet, and affectionate 18-month-old, 25-pound Cattle Dog mix female that needs a new home because rescuer can no longer keep her. She is housebroken, spayed, and shots are up to date. She has some obedience training: knows sit, let’s go, get in bed, and outside. She is crate trained but could use more practice with leash  walking. She rarely barks and loves lots of chew toys and being petted. Rosie is okay with other dogs and cats; children are unknown. She can be shy with new people and may do best as an only pet (preferably with female).

There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome this loyal, faithful girl into a loving home as part of your family, please call Sydney between 9 AM and 10 PM at 520-625-4344.

Hi… my name is Marley,

Adopted 6-28-20

My former owner had to work long hours, thus she couldn’t give me attention I need. I really don’t like being left alone for long periods of time and since I’m still a puppy, I tend to get into a lot of mischief. She said I’m a great companion and quite protective. I’m gentle and tolerant with children but apprehensive with other animals. I’m especially calm around children with disabilities. I know how to use the doggie door and ask to go out. I have little experience on a leash and I only know limited commands. I need basic behavior training and less time alone, to become the perfect boy for any home. If you think you might be interested in the future with a great pooch, please make an appointment to meet me.

Hi… my name is Cola,

Adopted 6-28-20

A wonderful lady rescued me and my 5 puppies and brought us all to TALGV, where she knew they would care for us and find us good homes. Now that my puppies are “leaving the litter” and going their separate ways, I’m ready to finally have a forever home of my own. I’m a friendly, 2 year old female Shepherd mix. I was pleased to see the care my new friends gave my pups and at the same time they made certain that I was given loving attention of my own. As much as I enjoy my stay here, I would really like to put down roots, as they say. If you are considering an addition to your family, please call the office and make an appointment to meet your new member.

Fry

Hi… my name is Fry,

Adopted 11-21-20

My friend, Loco, and I arrived at TALGV shortly after our Mom passed away. Now we’re in foster and my foster mom thinks I’m simply adorable. I’m a very affectionate and energetic girl who loves to run around and be chased. I’m house-trained and can be left for hours inside with no issues. I love to go on walks and car rides. I’ve been good with small dogs but need an introduction to any new dog. I love children, maybe too much, since I get very excited and may try to jump on them. Although Loco and I have been great friends, we are ready now to be separately adopted for our forever homes. Please call to arrange a visit.

Hi… my name is Franklin,

Adopted 6-27-20

On my trip here, the lady who drove me said I definitely needed my seatbelt. I’m a lively young guy who can be very energetic–just a big pup who needs some basic obedience training. I already know how to sit and lay down. I enjoy playing fetch and I will bring the toy back and drop it gently. I’m treat-motivated, and I’m a gracious gentleman when accepting them. I like to play and get a little mouthy but still gentle. I really love belly rubs and I will reward you with kisses. I have been told that I’m quite a handsome lad. Since I’m new to Green Valley, I would really love to meet you so please call TALGV office and make an appointment to consider adopting me.
