My name fits me pretty well! I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with patience and gentle voices, I warm up and show my sweet, affectionate side. I’ve been wonderful with other dogs and have shared space with several shelter roommates. Funny thing is… they keep getting adopted. Some folks say I’m a good-luck charm! I could use a little luck myself. Time in foster homes has helped me shine. I have polite manners, I’m house and potty trained, and I enjoy peaceful walks with my doggie and volunteer friends. I feel especially confident when another dog is around, and I take comfort in calm routines. My friends can’t believe I’m still waiting, but I know the right person will see the gentle soul I am and give me the chance to truly blossom. (1/26)

I was named after one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world because we share a lot of the same characteristics: I will also be big, and I’m already regal, majestic, and totally awesome. My sisters and I were abandoned when we were small, so we’re still learning what it means to be dogs in the human world. I would love to find a home with another dog or a patient person who could show me all the perks of living with people. They say I am a smart girl, and I love to play with other dogs. I am quiet (for a puppy), very gentle with people, and I learn commands quickly. Once you earn my trust, I will awe you with my loyalty and affection, and we can explore the world (or just the park) together.

Everyone is in such a hurry these days! Me? I just like to take it easy. I’m a relaxed, older lady who enjoys sleeping on the couch, staying in to binge-watch Netflix, and taking life easy. Unfortunately, my owners of 8 years had to give me up, so I need a new home to call my own. I don’t need much in the way of material things—just a soft place to lay and some snacks—but I appreciate as much love and affection as I can get. I am an excellent walker, housebroken, and I really enjoy a good sniffing expedition. While I don’t have wings, I do have a new feather in my cap, umm… I mean, collar: Dog Playgroup Rockstar! I love playing with other sociable dogs and helping shy pups gain confidence. I’m quite a social butterfly (again, without wings.) Not much is known about my past since I was found as a stray, but everyone at TALGV agrees my name fits me perfectly. I’ve got great manners, especially on leash, and a heart as big as my goofy grin. I’m around a year old, with a soft, wavy coat and a happy, social spirit. I’m a little bit of this and that breed-wise, which adds up to 100% sweetheart and 1000% good girl. I love walks, cuddles, and just being near you. All I need now is my halo… and that’s YOU!

Remember those ads about a famous athlete with the slogan “Bo Knows?” Well, this Bo knows plenty, including sit, down, place and more! I walk like a champ (especially away from the shelter). I love to make friends with other dogs, chase toys like a pro, and turn on the charm with my goofy grin. I’m a Malinois mix – of awesomeness! My looks equal my smarts. I learn fast and, while I enjoy being active, I also enjoy my naps. Cats might not appreciate my enthusiasm, but people sure do! I’m too much for a family with little kids (I might accidentally knock them down). Yes, that’s my real name. No, I don’t pop out of cakes – LOL! I’m 48 pounds of fabulous and mildly awkward charm. I lost my home recently, but I didn’t lose my sparkle. I’m adjusting with the help of my awesome TALGV crew – both 2- and 4-legged —even if group living isn’t really my thing. (I mean, who doesn’t get a little anxious with noisy neighbors?) I’m medium-energy: down for a walk, up for a nap, repeat. Kids? Uh…hard pass. I’m more of a grown-up’s dog. Think quiet evenings and snacks that “accidentally” fall on the floor. Once I trust you, I’m loyal, loving, and will absolutely judge your TV choices—but in a supportive way.
