Animal League News

Hi… my name is Nala Lala,

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION WITH BONDED COMPANION SPHYNX

My brother Sphynx has a deal for you: adopt us both for joy and companionship. I quite agree, although I’m shy and may hide in a corner until I feel safe with you. But trust me, I love to be petted and brushed, but I don’t like to be picked up. I can be very loving, cuddled next to you. My favorite napping places: on my human’s bed, on my cat tower, or under the bed. I got along with several grandchildren in my home, but when the premature grandchild was born, allergies flared. So here we are, Sphynx and me, just waiting for you. Please welcome us into your home!

Hi… my name is Shine,

Adopted with Rain 11-23-24

My sisters and I were found by a lady and brought to The Animal League as small kittens. We went to live with our foster mom, who had a hard time telling us apart! We are all what she calls “tortico,” mostly darker torti markings but with white (like a calico). I’m the smallest, and the shyest. I love people and will tuck my head around so you can scratch my chin. Mom says I’m sweet and well-behaved, unlike my sisters who get into everything.  I liked to sleep up against mom’s leg or under the bed. Of course, I love to play! Come meet us all and let us charm you.

Hi… my name is Lucky Charms,

Available with bonded companion Doublemint.

I am a gorgeous tortie girl with a lush coat and a charming nature. I’m shy at first, but once I trust you, we’ll be great friends. For being a year old, I’ve experienced a lot! My best friend, Doublemint, and I were found by a lovely person who brought us to the shelter. It was scary being outside and pregnant. We were so relieved to be safe! We stayed with a sweet volunteer until we had our babies. When we were ready, we came here to the shelter. We are looking for a nice, quiet home where we can be together forever. Maybe that’s your home? Come and meet us and let’s find out!

Hi… my name is Gabby,

Adopted 6-1-24

When my human could no longer care for me, I arrived here with my son Smokey and daughter Precious. I tended to hang out with my kids on the floor under a cat tree, where we snuggled up together. I was a little scared when I first arrived here, but I’m becoming more confident and like to stroll around my new rooms. The volunteers give me lots of petting and scratching, which I like. I’m a pretty tortoiseshell with round yellow eyes. My first priority is to find a nice home again, especially now that my kids have been adopted already. I’m okay with dogs. Come meet me!
