Hi… my name is Priscilla,

Adopted 10-20-17

Priscilla comes with FREE Vet Care for Life!

When my mom gave my housemate, Fluffy, and me to her friend when she moved, she thought I’d be able to stay forever, but the three resident cats immediately got their collective noses out of joint, so we only got to stay for a week. Since we’d lived with other cats and a dog before, Fluffy and I really tried to make friends, but it was just a “no go.” I’m a 12-year-old lady (so I come with Free Vet Care for Life!). My foster mom said that I’m on the shy side but loving nonetheless (that seems to be a trait of a lot of torties!), so I’d like to propose a merger, one that will yield great rewards for us both!

Hi… my name is Penny,

Adopted 2-27-17

I hear through the grapevine that there are quite a few stray cats out there days (we felines are supposed to be indoor only critters, ‘cause it’s a big dangerous world out there)! Well, I was one, too, but now that I’ve been rescued, I’m hoping I can find a nice, safe, loving home, and I promise that I’ll never want to stray again! As with all foundlings, it’s hard to know what kind of life I’ve led before, but I’m sure that in the future, I’ll let you know every day that I’m happy to be “off the streets” and hunkering down with you. At just 4 years old, I’ve got lots of livin’ and lovin’ to do, so let’s do it together!

Hi… my name is Kami,

Adopted with Kaze 10-23-16

Humans can be pretty hard to understand sometimes! My family (mom, pop, kids, and dog) moved out of state a while back and left my brother, Kaze, and me in the yard! We’d all gotten along so well, so I said, “Hey guys, you forgot us,” but I guess they didn’t hear me. Fortunately, the neighbors minded us for a while (they said, “They came to us for love and food,”) but they couldn’t keep us, so now we’re looking for a family that will cherish us for the sweethearts we are (and never, ever dream of leaving us behind!). I’m a 5-month-old torti girl who’d love to stay with my brother, but if not, I’ll be happy to grace your life alone.

Hi… my name is Glenda,

Adopted December 21, 2015

Yep, “tortitude” is real! For anyone who’s been owned by a torti, you know that sometimes we can seem like we have split personalities–going from purring away in your lap one minute to suddenly racing around the house like a crazy kitten–but those of you who love us wouldn’t want us any other way! Someone once said, “The price you pay in ‘tortitude,’ you get back tenfold in love.” And that would be me! So the fact that my mom died recently is just contributing to my reticence at the moment, but I know that in a new home with a new life, I’ll demonstrate how easily you can be converted to a “tortiholic” (in case you aren’t already there)!

Hi… my name is Mica,

Adopted November 27, 2015

Comes with Free Vet Care for Life.

This is what they said when I came in with my friend, Cinders: “These cats are very hungry, so feed them as much as they want. Their owner fell and was on the floor for three days before being found, so they probably weren’t fed.” Sadly, he needed long-term care, so now we do too — in our “golden” years. Although we hadn’t been to a vet for years, TALGV is making sure we’re getting caught up on our immunizations (and of course we come with Free Vet Care for Life). To give you a nudge in the “adopt-a-senior” department, I’m sharing this quote: “Blessed be the person who takes in an older pet, for their time with us is more important than our time with them.” I’m hoping that’s a “gotcha” that’ll win you over!

Hi… my name is Marjoram,

Adopted September 27, 2015

So with names like Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, Oregano, and Marjoram (somehow Thyme got short shrift!), you just gotta know that my siblings and I are will spice up your life no end (Okay, technically we’re herbs, but you get the drift!). The kind lady who rescued our mom cared for all of us until we were ready for our own homes (I guess six of us might have put her in the “crazy cat lady” category!). All my siblings have bespattered black and white fur, but as the “odd lady out” with my silky torti coat, I’m just that much more special! In any event, you couldn’t go wrong with any of us, so do yourself (and me!) a favor and make 2015 the “year of the cat” in your life!

Hi… my name is Ritz,

Adopted September 30, 2015

My foster mom, with whom I lived for many weeks until I gained my strength and “got growed,” said, “No one told Ritz she was named after a cracker because she’s thinking more along the lines of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel!  She’s a very sweet kitten who just seems to have class.” Well, that’s what happens when you’re pampered and coddled — you learn to love (and expect) it! Since I was only three weeks old when found, I needed a lot of TLC to get my weight up with extra nourishment, but one look at me and you’ll see how well that paid off! I’m a darling, medium-haired torti/tabby mix girl who is going to be one of those “can’t-take-your-eyes-off-her” ladies when I’m grown. You be the one to watch that happen!

Hi… my name is Lucy,

Adopted November 27, 2015

Despite my current anxiety about my life’s changes (my mom passed away recently), her daughter said that I’m really a delightful girl who can be laid back or playful — depending on my mood. She said that I love chasing balls with bells inside, am a “very clean litterbox girl” who likes to be “neat and tidy,” and love to have “daily chats” with you. I’ve been living with my siblings, Paul and Carlos, and adore them mightily, so staying with one or both of them would be SO nice (and make our transition into a new life a lot easier!). I’m a diminutive tabby/ tortoiseshell mix who loved sleeping with my mom at night, so if you’re looking for a bed partner of the feline kind to purr sweet nothings in your ear, I’m your gal!
