Boo

Hi… my name is Boo,

Adopted 10-18-25

Boo is the strongest and most assertive of the 3. She LOVES to wrestle with her brothers and prefers that activity over toys. Raven and Poe look up to her and follow her lead. If Boo barks or is afraid – they bark and are afraid too. If she’s calm they are all calm. She’s the bravest and when she tries something new, they then copy her. When all 3 are together she will snap at our kitty or at Katy (another doggie who visits us) and seems scared. However, when we hold her away from her brothers she doesn’t bark and is calmly sniffing them. Boo is really smart and sits and stays well. She is the furthest along in being potty-trained and does her business as soon as she’s let outside. She’s very sweet and likes being held and falling asleep in your lap. She listens and is curious. She likes to lick and chew (especially shoes). Boo loves the little furry doggie bed and drags it around and often tries to dump the other 2 out of it, but usually the 3 end up sleeping all together in it. Hopefully she can keep the doggie bed with her for a while until she has a new home. All 3 puppies know to go outside to the front porch after a meal and overnight consistently go potty in the same corner of the pen. They come when called and are really good sleepers (they sleep pretty much 6-9 hours at night – which is amazing). They all love any soothing music and fall right to sleep to it. We did not try to take them on any walks and just kept them in a few rooms in the house and the enclosed front porch. They were held a lot by our family members and some friends and seemed good with all kinds of people both male and female, but no kids that we know.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Poe

Hi… my name is Poe,

Adopted 10-18-25

Foster Notes: Poe – he was definitely the runt when we first got him and had a hard time fending off the wrestling overtures of the other two. He’s since gotten a bit stronger and has learned that if he barks, he can get the other two to back off a bit. So he barks the most of the three (at his siblings but not at people) and is quite fast and resourceful. He loves playing with his siblings but uses brain instead of muscle to try and outsmart them. Poe will often sit and chew on a toy while Boo and Raven tussle with one another. Poe likes to dig and find things (like if you hide something in the sand). He is very calm and loving and also likes being in your lap. He is totally food-oriented and more independent than the other two.  All 3 puppies know to go outside to the front porch after a meal and overnight consistently go potty in the same corner of the pen. They come when called and are really good sleepers (they sleep pretty much 6-9 hours at night – which is amazing). They make a small yelping sound if they want to be held (not that often, but sometimes). They all love any soothing music and fall right to sleep to it. We played music when the wrestling was getting a bit out of hand and it seemed to do the trick. We did not try to take them on any walks and just kept them in a few rooms in the house and the enclosed front porch. They were held a lot by our family members and some friends and seemed good with all kinds of people both male and female, but no kids that we know. They never went potty when holding them.

Hi… my name is Michelangelo (aka Mikey),

Adopted 1-2-26

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

I’d like to get to know you! I’m waiting at The Animal League meowing my greeting. I’m one big love who doesn’t act my age although I have Vet Care Support for Life. I may not play with toys all the time, but I DO appreciate you brushing my lustrous fur coat and talking with me. I’m one handsome, striped tailed gentleman who’s front declawed. In my previous home, I got along with children, dogs, and other cats. Sadly, my human became ill, and the grandkids were allergic, so here I am waiting. I’m one mellow guy ready to go home with you!

Hi… my name is Wero,

Adopted 1-29-26

I’m looking forward to my future! Is it with you? My kind rescuer found me injured on Nogales Highway and took me to his vet before bringing me to The Animal League where I’m being well-cared for. I’m a lovely, shy girl who needs loving care and protection. I’m understandably cautious when volunteers approach me, but I love their calming words and gently petting my soft fur coat. I observe all that goes on around me. A quiet home would be my choice. From my pictures, you notice what a beauty I am. Wouldn’t it be lovely if you met me and we went home together? I’d like that!

Frankie is a spunky and loyal 7-year-old, 47-pound Heeler mix female who needs a new home. She is crate trained, leash trained, and obedience trained (knows: sit, go to your bed, lay, shake, stay, wait and leave it). She is housebroken and asks to go out. She is in good health, spayed, and medical records are available. Frankie usually gets along with other dogs and children and is a great companion, but she mostly likes her own space. She does not like sudden loud noises. She likes to play with her stuffed animal and ball and enjoys lounging in the sun, going on desert strolls, rolling in the grass, going camping, and car rides. There is no adoption fee for this sweet girl.

If you will welcome Frankie into a loving home as part of your family, please call Isadore between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 520-999-1157.

Hi… my name is Princess,

Adopted 12-4-25

Once upon a time, a petite pup named Princess arrived at TALGV after her owner could no longer care for her. That’s me!  Now I’m hoping for my fairy-tale ending. I may not wear a crown, but I do have royal manners—I appear to be housetrained, and I love my crate (my own castle!). I walk like royalty on a leash and always try to please. I can be shy at first, but once I know you, I’ll happily shower you with love. Cats? I found them interesting and tempting to chase. Other dogs? I enjoy walks with them, but I prefer to choose my own friends. What I really want is a family who’ll treasure me as much as I’ll treasure them. Adopt me and we’ll live Happily Ever After in our own Kingdom.
