Hi… my name is Chelsea,

Adopted 4-28-25

A kind-hearted person brought me into another shelter carrying me in her arms. “Where’s my carrier?” I asked. “Where’s my human?” I was a stray, so no answer. Thankful I am that two volunteers brought me to The Animal League (in a carrier!) to be cared for until my very own human comes to adopt me. I am a petite beauty with a quiet disposition. I’m cuddly. I purr when I’m petted and curl around for ear scratches. I lap up canned food like there’s no tomorrow. I’m angelic when napping. You can’t find a sweeter kitty than me! Do I sound like your perfect pet? Let’s meet and find out!

 Hi… my name is Livingston,

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

I needed a loving home. I saw a “pet doggie door” and ran through it into what I hoped would be my forever home. Well, no go! This house could not accommodate me so off I came to The Animal League. I’m really a sweet cat, a “chill dude.”  I appreciate human attention. I love to be petted and brushed. Because I’m FIV+, I have Vet Care Support for Life. I’m able to live with other cats since FIV can only be spread by a deep bite wound. My wish: a home of my own with human(s) to love me.  Is that your home?

Hi… my name is Denali,

Adopted with Fuji 5-3-25

The word Denali means “the great one,” which is why they chose it for me. I am a beautiful puppy with gorgeous white socks and a regal bearing that will help me grow into my name one day. For now, I love playing with other dogs and learning about the world around me. My sisters and I were abandoned so we didn’t get to enjoy the comforts of life with humans until recently, and I have discovered I love snacks and a soft bed. I will be a big dog, but I’m pretty laid back when I’m not playing. I’d love to find a home with another dog or a patient owner who can teach me all the perks of living with people. If you’re ready for a great adventure with a smart, loyal best buddy, I’m the one for you.

Hi… my name is Cricket,

Adopted 5-16-25

Don’t you know you need a two-year-old Shar-Pei mix with a tender heart and eyes that still believe in kindness? Evidence of a tight collar left its mark, and so did being left behind in the desert after having puppies. When a kind man stopped his car after spotting me, I jumped right in—drawn to the cool air and safety. No puppies were found, just me… tired, but trusting. At TALGV, I finally curled up on a soft bed and slept for hours. I’ve since made several friends—puppies, dogs, humans too! It seems my name fits because when I see a dog I want to meet, I sing! I’m learning leash manners fast, and I give love even faster. I’m playful, friendly, soulful, and 100% sweet—no added calories, just unconditional love.

Hi… my name is Alex,

I’m feeling pretty lost right now. My family had to move and couldn’t take me, so I’m here—heartbroken, confused, and waiting for a second chance. I’m a big boy at 76 pounds, but I walk gently on leash and just want someone to help me feel safe again. I’m shy with new people, but if you sit quietly and speak softly, you’ll see it in my eyes: “I want to trust you—I’m just scared.” I don’t like being shut in my kennel, and I probably lived mostly outside before coming to TALGV. But deep down, I dream of being part of a real family—inside and loved, forever. Could you help me believe in “happily ever after” and show me what it means to be someone’s Prince? I’ve already got the handsome part handled.

Hi… my name is Bratwurst,

Adopted with Spaetzle 10-20-25

My buddies and I were found outside, and after being fed awhile a nice person brought us to The Animal League. One of my buddies has already been adopted! I’m hoping my turn comes soon.  I’m a solid boy who likes lazing on the top perch of the cat tree. You can rouse me for petting and brushing but otherwise I’m pretty chill. Maybe I’m just worn out after surviving outside! My coat is grey and white, and thick. How about coming to meet me to see if we can make a go of it?  Look on the top perch…
