I’m learning the world isn’t so scary. Walks are my favorite—especially those with a bunny scent! I’m getting braver every day: strangers don’t scare me like they used to, especially if they have a calm, friendly dog. I’ll need a few meetups at my favorite park to get comfortable, so please let me go at my own pace. I’m house-trained, use a doggie door, and know a few commands. Once I trust you, my silly side shines—perhaps relocating shoes or the remote. I love toys, car rides, and splashing in a kiddie pool. I’m now in a foster home with two other dogs who have guided me on how to make the most of this experience. Being the Smart Cookie that I am, I’ve quickly learned the household routines: play time, feeding times, outdoor/potty times, walk time, bed times. I would definitely benefit from having a friendly canine companion in the home. A kiddie pool would be a big plus in the summer. Transformation! I’m now living up to my name which means “tranquil.” Since coming to The Animal League, I now feel safe. The volunteers have patiently coaxed me out of my hiding place. I was found out on my own when my rescuer discovered me. Being a stray, it took me awhile to regain my composure. I now like to sit atop a cat tree observing my world. I also really like to play with those wand toys! I’m still hesitant about being petted and brushed, but that will most likely come in time. If you have a patient rescuer’s heart, please come spend time with me. I’m a beauty!

After being cared for in a home for several years, why would my human choose to abandon my brother Cumin and me at a car wash? We are sweet, loving felines who are FRONT DECLAWED. We are a bonded pair of siblings. Thankfully, our rescuer brought us to The Animal League where we are ready to meet our new human(s). My lovely, soft creamsicle fur coat just begs to be brushed. Although I’m shy, provide me with treats and I’ll let you pet me. How about it? Noah had it right: two felines are better than one!

What do people love about Dominoes? They’re easy to play with, fun, and really distinct, which perfectly describes me. I am a sweet girl who is easy-going and full of love. My spotted coat and blue eyes make me stand out in a crowd. I seem to be able to get along with other dogs since I had a buddy when I arrived at TALGV, but I’m ready to join a new home with a warm bed and daily food delivery. I am energetic but know how to sit and wait (especially if you offer a treat). I walk well on a leash and love to sniff the world outside. I would love to join your family game night, and you don’t have to worry about cheating because I don’t have any pockets. See you soon!

When mom died no one knew what to do with me. Luckily a nice neighbor took me in temporarily, and she brought me here to The Animal League. I wasn’t too happy at first, but now I see that this is a nice place. I like to hang out on the “catio” on a low perch and watch the world go by—I’m kind of low maintenance. I like petting and brushing, but nix on being picked up or held. I have white on my face, chest and feet, and the rest is a nice grey stripe. I’d like to find a permanent place to hang out—do you have a spot?

Sometimes the universe is just on your side, ya’ know? I was running loose with my buddy, looking for my next meal, when someone brought us to TALGV. We weren’t sure if we should be scared or not, but then they gave us SO much good food, a bath, a soft bed, and all of these people who were loving on us, and I realized that this is all okay with me. I like food…a lot…but I also like all the snuggles and cuddles. I’m a handsome, intelligent boy who is excellent on a leash and easy to train due to my affinity for snacks. I’m ready for my own home and family. I trust that the universe will bring me the right person; am I meant to be a part of your family?
